came in after the Saints vs panthers game. Sara came and hand picked us from the door and from then on everything was amazing. she took our drink and food order. someone else brought us water. minutes later she arrived with drinks and a smile. we ordered shots , again prompt service with a smile. the teamwork was so refreshing to see. food came out quickly and perfect. the London broil pita is literally to die for. we added 2 people to our party, again Sara was there took their orders and delivered quickly. I cannot say more good words about this place. we were a group of bartenders from Greensboro and couldn't be more impressed. the gentleman at the door (who i mistaked as the owner) to the bartender, to the girl who gave us water, the nice bald man (a server i think), the drink delivery guy, and sara our server everything was so smooth and so perfect. im sorry for being long winded but my experience was absolutely amazing. thank you Sara and your coworkers for being incredible on such a busy time. i hope you all make all the moneys and we will definitely be back..and tell our friends ♡♡♡♡...

Let's talk about The French Quarter Tavern. On the menu, on Thursday's, the special is the baked chicken. Your choice, white or dark meat. Further rested as, in writing, "the best in the free world". Outrageous? Boastful? Crazy? Honestly, I just can't fairly dispute that description. The chicken is marinated for 2 days, and is seasoned based on the Greek background of George, the gregarious owner, and is perfectly splendid. When served the chicken was just the right temperature, a wish of steam came from cutting into it. Moist? Sure, some people cannot stand that word but it best describes this wonderful delight. I completely enjoyed this chicken. The broccoli was also well prepared, cheese sauce right on, and the mashed potatoes just the way I like them, with a rich, but not overpowering gravy. Highly recommend. I sat outside and that really added to the experience. A great vibe from the pedestrians passing by. A happy and friendly community. Stop in on Thursday and have...

Staying in uptown Charlotte NC for an event one evening, we (group of ten) found ourselves trying to find somewhere to eat. It was already 7:30pm and there had been other events going on and everywhere local we tried had a ridiculous wait time. We happened upon the French Quarter! It was small and packed, but they were able to seat us immediately. Very friendly and great atmosphere! Service was prompt and dependable despite the packed house! Ordered Supreme Nachos as appetizer and they were outstanding! Had London broil wrap that was equally as good. Daughter had chicken quesadillas that she said were great as well! Whether we were all hungry, or the food was truly satisfying and good, I'm not sure, but we all had no complaints! Great friendly service, prompt, and tasty food all add up to a super experience! I'd recommend...

Place:- In uptown Charlotte located on the busy hustling street amidst of various offices. Small but usually crowded place. Might have to wait a lil to be seated but not a long wait. Food:- I ordered the Friday special & a chicken sandwich. Both of them were really nice. Service was fast & food was fresh & hot. Staff was decent as well. Parking:- Paid. You'll usually never find any free parking anywhere in uptown Charlotte. All in all it was a good experience. Would recommend this place. P.S. Room for improvement:- Bathrooms

I really liked this place from the moment we walked through the door. Eventhough there were a lot of people standing outside this place we decided to walk in and find out how long a wait and to our surprise a table came open and was cleared within a few minutes and we were sitting down. The waitress was quick and friendly. We got the Teriyaki Wings to share and they were perfect. I got the Steak and it was amazing. My side salid was colorful and large. My son enjoyed my fries. Great place but think New Orleans bar, not France.
