I don't know what's worse, starting on insulin in my '50s or being punished for standing up for myself. I was a driver for Domino's and when I first started I assumed that I will be doing lunch until early evening, but I was scheduled from 5:00 until 10:00 or 11:00 at night. It took me out of my comfort zone because I really don't like driving at night but I needed the extra cash so I will take my insulin early so that way I didn't have to go in the bathroom and do it because the only take it one time a day. Mind you, this is still new to me and I hate the fact that my life has changed just based on genetics but back to the story at hand. I wanted to get a pizza because my sugar was going low and I had already did two 15s, to bring my sugar up considering I had eaten dinner so early plus I had some apples and peanut butter in the car. So I was about to put in the order when I was sent out and when I came back in it was around 10:30 I got off at 11:00 and a coworker was showing me how to order a pizza being an employee and the manager, Kenny started moaning about how he has been there all day and he's not making another pizza but at the same time orders was coming in. I'm mad so I take the last order considering it was almost 11:00 and I come back and I confront Kenny about why couldn't he make me a pizza when in fact that he was still making pizzas after I had tried to get one. He told me he doesn't make employees pizzas during rush hours and I should refer to the sign on the wall and I told him with me being new somebody should have pointed it out to me. I told him I didn't think it was cool how I wanted to buy a pizza and he refused to make me one but at the same time even after I got there and it's after 11:00 he still making pizzas. I clocked out and left and around 3:45 in the morning I got an email for the new schedule and he cut my hours so I quit. You can't blame it on young adults for the high turnaround rate in fast food, because a lot of these managers are egotistical and do not like to be challenged. I've never been an okie doke and never will. I blame the management for the high turnaround of employees at this particular...
Read moreI tried to give this location a pass when I saw a huge roach crawling on their walls during pick up, but TODAY takes the cake……!!!
I don’t know who Domino’s is hiring or what they’re hiring for, but the level of customer service I just experienced was absolutely unacceptable. I understand this is often a job for high schoolers and young adults—cool, I get it. But basic professionalism shouldn’t be optional.
I called to make a simple change to my order. It took 10 minutes for anyone to even pick up the phone. When someone finally did, they hung up on me as soon as I started to speak. I called back immediately, and they answered the phone and sat in pure silence before hanging up again! Seriously?
The third time I called, the same girl FINALLY picked up, and instead of a proper greeting, she just hit me with a dry, half-dead “hello”, as if I interrupted her nap. No “Thanks for calling Domino’s,” no professionalism, just straight-up attitude. AND THEN she starts huffing and puffing so loud that I thought she was having a dang asthma attack!
I was trying to explain the changes I needed for my order, and she had a major attitude as if I was her ex-boyfriend who won’t stop calling her! Like little girl… relax, I’m just trying to get the food that I already paid for.
I don’t care if someone’s making $7.25 or $17.25 an hour, customer service is customer service. You don’t get to treat people like trash just because you don’t want to be at work!
This location is trash—and it clearly attracts trash energy and...

INITIAL REVIEW:
After we receive our order, we will never order from this location again. A few months ago, our order was messed up so bad that we got a store credit. We were told to call the store to redeem it. Well today, we're trying to redeem it and the 1st time, my husband didn't get to speak to an actual human before getting hung up on. The second time, he spoke to someone who claimed she was transferring the call and my husband was on hold for over 30 minutes and still, no order yet. It's a Monday that isn't a holiday, so what's the excuse today?
Edited to add that I decided to go there in person and nothing was going on. No excuse for calls not being answered. Everyone was just standing around and 3 out of the 4 non-managerial employees were on their phones. I wonder why they feel so comfortable to be like that in front of the manager and a customer. Also, the manager did not solve one of the issues that I had.
One last edit: They got one of the pizzas wrong AGAIN. I went to check my original order in my email, thinking that it may be my fault, but no. I'm not sure where the disconnect is. No need for me to even call about this since I said I'm done with...
