Honestly, the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. It was my very first visit to this place. We had just finished a day at the museum with the kids and decided to treat them to some ice cream. We walked in to find a boy and girl behind the counter deep in conversation. Not a single hello or greeting as we curiously looked over the ice cream. Finally, when they finished their chat, the boy casually approached us, barely making eye contact, and asked what we wanted. I asked for a listing of the flavors, but he simply pointed to the wall with the menu in silence. My son pointed out one that looked like cookies and cream, but when I asked the boy what flavor it was, he just said “Chocolate!” even though it was clearly more than just plain chocolate. To make matters worse, the girl behind the register was casually licking ice cream right beside the display, completely ignoring us. Needless to say, I took my money and my kids’ elsewhere. This happened on today Oct 19th at 5pm. Also it is unsanitary for Employees to eat in food...
Read moreOverall good quality ice cream and a consistent product. Hence the two stars. However the thing keeping it from five stars is a little more pressing. I would HIGHLY encourage the ownership/management of this place to train employees on the proper way of asking/telling guests about the pet policy. My girlfriend and I visited the other night and before he could even muster a “welcome” the employee behind the counter (young black kid with red hat) rudely told her she couldn’t have her dog in there. My poor girlfriend is shy and has an “invisible disability” as some might call it. We didn’t have our dog’s vest on, but a service dog vest is only a courtesy and is not required by any laws. She felt so embarrassed she left before I could protest. But I shrugged it off until another person went inside and was served, and the same kid even pet her dog! I would hate to think this was discriminatory, but...
Read moreI recently went to the illusion museum and found ourselves stumbling across the golden cow. We go in and a gentleman greeted us. I asked him his favorite and he responded “salted Oreo” so I asked for a kiddy cup of it. He handed me the cup and spoon. I immediately tried it while my son was deciding. It wasn’t to my liking and my son tried it, off my spoon and we both agreed that one was not it. We asked if we could change it to the mint Oreo, my son had tasted previously. He took our cup and spoon back, scooped the remaining icecream with our spoon we both ate off of and put the icecream back in the icecream pale for other customers. How disgusting!!!! I told the manager, Infront of the gentleman, he didn’t seemed dazed or unbothered and all she said is she apologize. I would stay far away from this place! It’s...
