Panera Bread — Restaurant in Charlotte

Get the bugs out! I went here to get food for my daughter. They had a big sign to use the self service computer. So I set up an account and ordered a grilled cheese and tomato soup. Then waited until the text came to pickup. But it was not there. Once I got someone's attention I was told they didn't have the soup. Changed the soup, but then opened the grilled cheese and they used a hard roll instead of bread. Back to the counter and was told they are out of bread. The bread was too hard for my daughter to eat. We had to give her food from someplace else. Other things on the menu had been grayed out but everything we ordered showed as available. The system also could have notified me since they made me signup to receive texts. This is not the fault of the workers, but I will not go back until they get the bugs worked out of this system or hire someone to...

I had a good feeling about this Panera. I was so happy that I was right.

You probably already know that this Panera is inside of the mall. It may not have a standalone location, but the service and the food was amazing. I have a SUPER custom meal that I always order, especially when I visit a Panera I haven't been to, and most of the franchises cannot pull it off. Not only did this Panera pull it off, but the they went one step further and gave me the actual "extra" condiments I asked for. I had the condiment in my meal with two extra containers! I consider that as paying attention to detail.

I presume that not having to worry about an entire dining area helps but I just believe that when you have a good staff and good management you have good service.

I understand that they were probably busy or short-staffed, but I walked up to the counter to redeem my sip club offer. No one was at the front for me to talk to… i went to the side where i could see the manager (wearing a pink button up shirt) and asked if i could have a lemonade and let her know i have the sip club. She asked if i knew how to take a number and input it in on the computer. I was going to do that anyway… i just wanted her to acknowledge that i was there and that she’d be right with me. Panera… if people just want a drink, there should be someone that can let you know that they will. I just wanted to make sure mine was with no ice. There should have been someone at the front of...
