Dilworth Coffee — Restaurant in Charlotte

I just visited this location today. Every time I come here I typically have a good experience, like I come here every other week but today made me realize I have better luck going to A Dunkin in uptown Charlotte. One of the girls working today was unbelievably rude. When my mom questioned about the coffee she had about why her coffee honestly tasted awful like the girl didn’t have the sense to have stirred it before she handed it off like you’d think a coffee that is I don’t know $6 you’d think the “barista” would make it a little more than mediocre. My mom went on to make a comment that it just doesn’t taste right like Starbucks and the girl made sure to inform my mom that y’all are not starbucks. I’m glad your worker is smart enough to know where she works but I think she needs to be taught customer service. I recently visited Dilworth Coffee Shop and was appalled by the hygiene standards. The cashier/barista, a woman working behind the counter, repeatedly wiped her nose with the inside of her shirt. What’s worse, she made absolutely no attempt to wash her hands before continuing to prepare customers’ beverages. This lack of basic sanitary practices was deeply concerning and utterly unacceptable. The girl with the pink hair was extremely rude and not welcoming to me. There was no one in line and she told me I needed to move and “get in line.” I was shocked, as I was the only one in the coffee shop. I do not recommend this coffee shop as the employees are completely rude, even when greeted with smiles and hellos. Not to mention, the prices are outlandish compared to other coffee shops in the area. The flavors offered are syrups from TJ max. You’re better off making the coffee at home.
