This is a very cool hip 😎 Restaurant specializing in Latin Cuisine. Welcome to the Scenic City 🌆 one of the most visited tourist attractions in the country. Congratulations ! Latin Foods are part of several different restaurants offering their own twist promoting cultural sensitive foods. We all appreciate you guys bringing diversity to our outstanding restaurants. It is a beautiful restaurant. The designs are creative, promoting Latin lifestyle .They serve a variety mix of food you guys may not be familiar with. I suggest you inquire if you are not sure about a particular menu item. The staff is Professional and Friendly providing excellent customer service. I ordered the Fish Chorizo, and Barbaco Tacos. Burrito 🌯 are always a popular favorite. Tortilla soup is always good 😋, along with a Quesadilla. Traditional black beans very nutritional are a simple, but popular favorite . Okay I'm still hungry 😊 Then order the Chorizo Sliders. They serve adult beverages 🍷🆔. They serve traditional drinks 🥤 as well. These are some of my favorites. Like music 🎵 ? Like videos ? They gotcha covered. Go check ✅ them out for yourself. I Love 💞...

Very impressed with our dinner at Conga Latin. Located on Main we were looking for something else besides gastro pub fair and this Central American establishment did not disappoint. First get the Guac. It's made with huge chunks of fresh avacado, served with house made tortilla chips and plantain chips. Really some of the best guacamole I've ever had. Then we selected dishes from El Salvador and Mexico. The papusa was a highlight as was the chorizo. Also excellent soft warm sweet plantain chunks and tostadas. Everything very flavorful and huge portions especially for the price. We left full and happy. Really, the only reason this is not five stars was the lack of any atmosphere. The cheap plastic floor lamps (one was broken, or assembled wrong causing light to glare into a booth) and no real style to speak of made us think the place might be closed and won't encourage you to linger. Some better lighting, a more intimate booth layout, and music would put this place over the top. But don't let that cause you to miss out on a absolutely fantastic food experience,...

First Latin food (though it more like an El Salvadoran) spot; and I can’t wait to go back again.

Pictured:

Cebiche with white fish, reasonably priced, fresh, citrusy, and about the kinda fresh of a fish you could get in a landlocked area like Chattanooga. The chips were more than enough, I recommend ordering this to share, I shared it with my alter ego, she loved it; she doesn’t really know too much about fish, unless it’s bad; then she knows.

Their classic pupusa, with cheese, beans, and pulled pork. This is the El Salvador dish, and it shows. Possibly one of the best pupusas I’ve ever had; I can’t wait to try all the other types they have. They usually come in orders of two, I got only one; did not share with alter ego; she getting kinda phat.

Alter ego loved the mango salsa and thought the habanero wasn’t that spicy. Her name is Shego btw, because wherever I go, Shego.

Overall: Food: 4.7/5 Price: 4.9/5 Ambiance: 4/5

Support, eat, and ask for the...

Conga Latin Food serves up a delightful array of Latin American flavors that tantalize the taste buds. The platanos fritos were a standout appetizer - perfectly caramelized and offering a harmonious balance of sweet and savory notes. The star of the meal was undoubtedly the pork sandwich, elevated by a generous slathering of creamy guacamole. The tender, juicy pork paired exquisitely with the rich avocado, creating a mouthwatering combination of textures and flavors. Accompanying the main course, the fresh fries were a crispy revelation - golden-brown perfection that added a satisfying crunch to each bite. To wash it all down, the horchata provided a cool, refreshing counterpoint to the meal, its sweet cinnamon notes cleansing the palate. Conga Latin Food delivers an authentic and vibrant dining experience that transports you straight to the heart of Latin America. It's a must-visit for anyone craving bold, fresh flavors and generous portions.
