I placed a pickup order for (2)1 day cleanses, Power Wrap, and Veggie Hummus Wrap on the Local Juicery’s website on Tuesday Jan. 30 for pickup Feb. 1. All was good - I received a text message once the order was ready which was around 2:45 and picked up the order around 4:45 as I had clarified during the ordering process. Upon entering I was greeting by the 2 staff that were up front and they were kind no issue with their customer service. The environment is pretty welcoming and has that typical juicery vibe with a hint of a crystal shop vibe. One of the staff gave me my order which was stapled shut with my name and receipt also stapled to it. I left without opening the bag and confirming I received everything(I’ll take responsibility for that). The issue started the next day. Once I got home after picking up my order I discovered the 2 wraps I ordered were not in the bag. No biggie I’ll just call them and see about picking them up the next day. By then they were closed so I called today Feb. 2. The person that answered claims to be Julian the assistant manager. Whether that’s her truth is not for me to confirm. I stated that I had picked up the order the previous day and the wraps are missing. Immediately she gives me an attitude and makes the statement “well I’m gonna need more info than that I don’t even know your name when or how you ordered .” So I say, “maybe you should start asking the questions.” I was fully aware she didn’t know my name but I assumed as an employee there’s a line of questioning that would start once you’ve been made aware of an error 🤔 she then ask when I had picked the order up and makes the statement “and you didn’t check the order before you left.” I proceeded to say “the bag was stapled shut and I assumed you did your job” I can match that energy Julian. After I gave her the info she asked for she proceeds to put me on hold for a couple of minutes. She gets back on the phone to ask more questions with that same irritated/annoyed attitude she had when she first answered the phone. All I was looking for is “our bad you can pick up the missing items or we can issue a refund”. She then gets my phone # claiming she has to look into what happened and she’ll call me back. We’ll see how Julian conducts herself if she ever gets back to me. I’ll update my review...
Read moreThe guy I believe to be the manger. He was the only guy working, was very mean aggressive. All the girls were super nice I was in conversation with one when he decided to interject with a bad attitude. The crazy part is that the girl had already gave me the advice I had needed. He decide to just be mean and aggressive after the fact. I simply said "Woah man no need to be that way we can be kind." After that he asked me to leave for simply asking to be kind. All the people were great every time I was there except that guy. I would steer clear if he is there, he creates a bad atmosphere apparently as EVERY time other than when he is there it has been pleasurable experience.
Edit: I appreciate your prompt response. You are correct I was there as a worker, does that mean I get less respect? If there was an option for delivery driver when writing this I would have clicked it but alas there is not.⁹ I urge you to post the video so all can see I was not disruptive when I said, "We don't have to be like that we can kind." I take kindness as a virtue and the man there was anything but. As to the claims I about racism, wow, just wow. I urge people to read my reviews and see that there was no racism only descriptors. I believe racism is deplorable. That is a very shallow depth to dive to and if people are interested please have a look at my reviews. Further, I was not even talking to the young lady about how long the order took at that point. At that point she was telling me how my car was OK where it was parked. The team working there are incredibly kind and attentive. I’ve ordered two cleanses from them now and each time I’ve gotten texts and calls from them, checking in to see how I was doing. They offered tips and pointers on doing a cleanse for the first time, and I had a great experience!
The juices themselves were delicious! I have a juicer at home and still have yet to make something that compares to their juices.
Doing these cleanses has improved my quality of life immensely! I do cleanses with the intention of breaking cravings, supplementing weight loss, and fighting my chronic migraines. Cravings felt impossible to get rid of, but Local Juicery’s cleanses helped me break both my sugar cravings and caffeine dependency! As of my first cleanse, I’ve lost a total of 20 pounds! Yes, people say it’s only water weight, but as a supplementation to weight loss, I’ve kept the weight off each time I’ve done a cleanse with clean eating and exercise. The biggest thing for me would have to be the migraines. After my first cleanse I went from having 15 episodes a month to 7 or less.
