BEAR WITH ME, IM A STORY TELLER AND IF YOU HAVE A FISH ALLERGY AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE PLAGUE!!!

We kind of had high hopes after talking to the police officers enjoying their lunch. We both ordered a regular gyro, lamb (which is supposed to be shaved, not dried up yesterday’s chopped up whatever meat that was) and the cucumber salad and my daughter got the kids chicken dish. The food comes up and you can tell right off the bat that it’s old. Kids chicken was visibly dry as all get out, the cucumber salad is at least 4 days old(I eat this at home, I know when it goes bad lol) but we go ahead and try the food. The first bite of the gyro I tasted fish, I thought maybe it was me but then my dad agrees. So I go down to talk to who I’m assuming the manager(tall, skinny kid with a slicked back ponytail that has zero experience working in hospitality) is and he 100% played it off like I’m stupid. I’ve been in this industry for 20 years, I know all the tricks. Anyways, he gives me the typical run around not wanting to admit their fault. Ok, that’s fine, I gave him the benefit of the doubt and had it re made with him REASSURING me that the meat and fish are cooked in seperate grills. Mind you, from the upstairs, you literally see the entire line, there’s ONE flat top going(I wear glasses and couldn’t identify what was actually on it) Food finally comes out but now they’re done and I’m annoyed so I take it to go. I get home, still hungry so I tried this one..I mean really?! It’s even fishier and drier than the first! And you forgot my week old cucumber salad and tzatziki I paid extra for! Long story short, if you have a fish allergy, please go elsewhere! This could potentially lead to a death. Health department has been notified and I will be doing a...

I have eaten here MANY times, and there is apparently new staff. I came with a group of girls, the food was great. However the service was NOT. Several things we ordered were not actually put in correctly so when we let one of the employees know that brought our food out, it was more of an inconvenience for her to fix it. Or that we made a mistake while ordering? She came back and ARGUED with me about an item that was missing from my order and pretty much said that I ordered incorrectly and that the "girl who took your order asked you what size you wanted" when she indeed did NOT ask me a size NOR have I ever been asked a size on the item I ORDERED. It was really frustrating how she handled the situation considering we came in as group and were all on one ticket, to act as if we caused her problems when we've never had this issue before.

When I called to speak to a manager she was rude as well, Very off putting, didn't really care about what I had to say but said it was just a "misunderstanding" I understand things happen, I get that the new girl may have made a mistake and that wasn't the issue. It was the audacity of the other EMPLOYEE/MANAGER attitude and the way they handled it. And after reading some of the reviews that are similar to the experience I had today. I won't be coming back to this location and I'll make sure our office no longer does catering with Tajiki's...

Taziki’s on Main Street is a solid spot in downtown Chattanooga. The atmosphere is decent—it's a two-story, well-used space. While it’s clean and comfortable, it’s definitely more functional than fancy. That said, the location is excellent, especially if you're walking from nearby offices or event venues. The staff were pleasant and polite, though they didn’t seem particularly knowledgeable about the food beyond the basics. They got the job done, but if you’re looking to dig into ingredients or prep methods, you may not get much insight. The food concept is great—a fresh, Mediterranean-style chain with healthier options than many burger joints nearby. I ordered the chicken wrap with roasted red potatoes. The Taziki sauce and fresh ingredients were spot on, though the chicken itself was a little rubbery—likely because it was the end of the day on a Sunday. Would I go back? Absolutely. Despite the slightly overcooked chicken, the meal was a great value, flavorful, and satisfying. Definitely worth a return visit.

Wow where do I start? The food was superb, I got the Harrisa Spiced Chicken Gyro and also got a Lamb Gyro both were astonishingly great, I’ve found it fairly difficult to find good fresh ingredients like these in Chattanooga and this blew me away from what I’d expected. Loved the second floor window seating and the staff was so mannered & polite, ended up having a pretty good conversation with the gentleman that took my order up front and that’s always a pleasure. I would absolutely recommend this spot to anybody looking for lunch between 8-14 dollars! The only downside is parking obviously but, they do have special takeout parking spots next to the building, although I was dine in, it was extremely thoughtful in the city. 9.3/10!

Taziki’s Mediterranean Cafe is worth going to and trying. One hundred percent would eat at Taziki’s and taste their fresh quality Greek food again. I think Taziki’s is one of the best ethnic restaurants I have ever had, and the quality of the food really stands out. The prices for the gyros and sides are definitely worth it due to the quality and flavors. Taziki’s is good for kids, adults, family, friends, and anybody who wants to have good quality fresh ethnic food. Taziki’s is also good for large groups, as they serve large feast items for big groups of people. Taziki’s is the place you want to be if you want an amazing and patient server. You can tell they use their Mediterranean style of connection with the community.
