I held a surprise engagement party for a group of about 20 people at Nomad-Chicago. The venue is beautiful, clean, and well-designed. Prior to the event, I worked very closely with Jelena, who responded quickly through email and even provided a FaceTime tour of the venue due to my lack of availability to initially see the space in person. As the timing of the event approached, Jelena showed me around the space in person and went through a detailed checklist from everything from the music setup to providing cutlery and where tables/chairs should be placed. As far as pricing in Chicago goes for event spaces to accommodate my party size, this was by far the best deal in the city. I would highly recommend this space and can foresee it being utilized for engagement parties, wedding showers, jewelry expositions, etc. In addition to the actually space, the people working at Nomad make this place extra special, as you can sense their dedication to supporting local artists/businesses through their items being sold in the boutique....

My internet went out and i needed a place to work so I went here. It is very beautiful! The perfect spot to get some work in.

There is a store inside and it has some really nice items. I’d definitely recommend this place!

The only thing that disturbed me is I decided to purchase a drink since it was such a lovely spot and great convenience to me - but the cashier was quite rude. I stood in front of him as he had his headphones in and ignored me standing there. I had to ask him if he could take my order. Even when he did he talked extremely low, seemed annoyed and when i asked if they had Apple Pay he ignored me - i asked again and he just pointed to the pin pad.

There were two ladies behind the counter working as well. They were great! They spoke when i walked in and often looked around checking in on people.
