RIPTIDES 11561 — Restaurant in City of Long Beach

I went with my fiancé and son to the craft fair. We wanted to stop and eat at rip tides. My Fiancé and son sat on a bench while I went on line to order food. No sooner did they sit down, they were approached by the manager/what I believe to be the owner and said that they had to get up and leave. They tried to explain that I was on the line trying to buy food but he interrupted her and spoke over her and said “no outside food you gotta get up and go.” They came to me while I was on the line and told me what happened. I was so disappointed, I didn’t want to place my order anymore. I wanted to support a local business but got shooed away very rudely. Yesterday I went to the craft fair with my family. We started to get hungry and decided to have lunch. I was very excited because I always wanted to try the food at riptides and thought this was the perfect opportunity. My son and I sat on the bench while my fiancé waited on the line to place the order for us. Within 5 minutes a man came up to me telling us we had to move because the bench was for riptide customers only. I tried to explain that my fiance was on the line ordering but he proceeded to speak over me repeatedly “you gotta move no outside food this is for riptides only” it was obnoxious. We got up and walked to the line and I told my fiance what happened. We left and had our lunch elsewhere. I will never give riptides my business. I never tried it and I never will. This is my 2nd time visiting long beach and this spot is my go to for when its time to eat. Their menu offer a variety of foods and drinks including a breakfast menu. They have seating available along with separate male and female bathrooms. Their portion sizes are good so what whatever you decide to get you'll get plenty of it. My go to is the quesadillas which They the have multiple options. The service is pretty fast even at busy times. So if you're visiting this beach or just hanging out on the boardwalk this is the spot to grab...
