Tipsy Scoop — Restaurant in City of Long Beach

Employee's attitude was unacceptable - made very mean, unsafe assumptions about me being suspicious when this was my first time checking out this place that I heard about by word of mouth. I wanted to purchase something that was in a promotional email that they didnt have ready, plus I wanted to see not just the flavors but also the different liquor infused in the flavors, as this boozy ice cream thing as new thing for me to check out. Part of your staff member's false allegations against me was that I was "taking pictures", which I was not and that employee knows it - they saw that I was holding up my smartphone with the promotional email regarding limited-time flavor/product. Plus just because someone has a smartphone doesn't mean you can assume they could be taking pictures, smartphone can be used for something else (such as pulling up your email, duh)...welcome to the 21st century

I don't intend this negative review to be for the whole company because I still see potential patronage, but it for this specific location. Next time make sure your staff are well-trained in how they conduct themselves, because the behavior of that attendant behind the counter was unprofessional and completely deplorable, plus their expression on their face shows as if they're disinterested in their job . I also suspect there may have been ableism involved - I'm autistic. And I hope there no anti-Asian hate involved either - yes I'm Asian too. Such a cute little spot. If you happen to be in Long Beach, this is another place that you must pop your head in and try if you have never had alcohol infused ice cream. I normally frequent the Manhattan location and have also use their delivery service from time to time. Today was my first time at this particular location being that I was out in Long Beach I ended up buying a pint of the rosé infused sorbet.

Normally I get the raspberry lemoncello or the mango margarita flavor. My all time favorite is the watermelon Hennessy infused sorbet (limited edition)

I haven’t tried the rosé yet but they had a blood orange infused flavor that I did sample today that was pretty good and the manager even mentioned that it pairs well with Prosecco.

Definitely will visit again while summers...

I was so excited when I found out Tipsy Scoop had a location a little closer to me than BK & NYC! Anywhoo, my husband & I decided to check them out today and I was thrilled! The young lady that assisted us ( I didn't even get her name 🤦🏾‍♀️, we were talking and laughing like we knew each other lol) was great! Great personality, great customer service, and knew her scoops 😉! We tried the Boozy Flight, which is your choice of 4 "shots"/samples of different ice cream/sorbet! And to top it off... She decorated them so festive!! For the trip home, I got a scoop of Mint Chocolate Chip! 😁 Can't wait to go back and bring more people!!...
