Annapurna Indian kitchen — Restaurant in City of Niagara Falls

Terrible experience. We were a group of 10 and simply asked for 5 paper napkins. The cashier uncle rudely refused and only gave 3 – ridiculous! On top of that, he kept promoting some “back side” area of the restaurant, which we unfortunately visited… big mistake. The food there was worse than a food truck – stale, badly presented, and tasteless.

Even worse, the cashier’s behavior was extremely creepy. He kept giving my daughter uncomfortable looks, tried to flirt, and randomly offered her free treats. Honestly, it felt like some black magic/voodoo nonsense. Totally unacceptable and disturbing.

We waited over 45 minutes just for 2 parathas. Food was just okay, but the service? Miserable. No order management, no manners, and certainly no sense of hospitality.

We stopped by this permanent food truck setup near Niagara Falls with high hopes and mixed results.

What We Tried: Aloo Tikki Chat – Absolutely stellar. Bursting with spice, tanginess, and texture. Probably the best item here. Lamb Biryani – Disappointingly underwhelming. While the portion was generous, the flavors lacked depth, and the meat was on the dry side. Mango Lassi – Mediocre. Too sweet and thin, missing that rich creamy tang. Kulfi (Mango & Malai) – Sadly not impressive. The texture was icy and the flavor artificial compared to better kulfis we’ve had.

Price: Steep for a food truck. Most mains are around $15–20, which feels high given the hit-or-miss quality.

Ambience & Setup: Convenient location with an outdoor seating area. Clean and easy to navigate, with clear menus and visuals.

Verdict: Come here just for the chaat. Skip the rest unless...

We recently dined here and tried a variety of dishes including the Samosa Chaat, Chole Bhature, Vegetarian Thali, and Veg Biryani. While everything was enjoyable, the Chole Bhature and the Vegetarian Thali truly stood out — both were exceptionally flavorful and cooked to perfection. The kids thoroughly enjoyed the meal, which made the experience even more delightful.

The overall dining experience was absolutely worth the price. A special thanks to Mr. Harwinder for his warm hospitality and attentive service, which added a personal touch to our visit.
