Pizza and this region of Florida are two things that do not work. So this review simply is comparing this newer place on Clearwater Beach to other local pizza. This is no northeast quality pie that will compete with those found in NY or even NJ for that matter. So forget about finding that around here. But when compared to other NY Style pies in the local area for a beach resident. This is my go-to place. Grab a slice or a whole pie. If you like NY Style this might be a place for you. There is a thicker Sicilian Style option but I have no interest in trying that option. From the Captial Supreme to the simple Cheese, these pies are alright. And the salads are excellent too, although small for the price. But they are fresh. The wings are pricey, but then wings are costly everywhere now. The hot wings here seem hit or miss. One time I was blown away with goodness and another time they were a bit soggy. So give them a try if you crave wings enough to pay the price. Eeyore approves of this place for pizza and salad. Eeyore also likes they appear to keep the place cleaner than the other surrounding...
Read moreOrdered a few pizzas while on vacation in Clearwater, lets me say hands down view the pictures…..so stinking good. Our kids loved each type and we ordered three different versions, garlic knots. The order was prepped and ready when we went by to pick it up. The staff was very friendly and provided us plastic wear and plates. They also asked for condiments like Parmesan cheese and Rostated red peppers. The pizza reheated well and the kids were so happy to have an extra snack the day after. I highly recommend this pizza location for either delivery or dine in. The location is directly across the ocean walkway with incredible views. The dining room was very open and very accommodating. It is handicap accessible to enter and exit. Parking available on street with pay to park. When in Clearwater I suggest you visit and see...
Read moreOrdered an XL pizza and waited 30 minutes for it, which is understandable during busy times. We watched it come out of the oven and be put into the box, the other worker then proceeded to take our pizza in the box and switch it with the pizza in the display window that people buy individually by slice. Our order number was called and we took our pizza, opened it up and it was luke warm at best, and very dry. My husband went inside to talk with the workers and they laughed about it said they would never switch our pizza with the other pizza and could make a new one but it would be another 30 minutes. The worst part was seeing what had been done. The manager stated that it is not the business but the kids he has working for him. Very disappointed, we chose to order from Kings Pizza and it was fast...
