Buyer beware! This started on Friday by me deciding to visit after seeing a social media ad. Looked great. I went after work, as I am a local. Awesome but chill atmosphere. After my visit, I called up friends, who came in for the weekend, and we decided to change our planned reservation and go here instead. For the vibe and also the ad about the Jimmy Buffet celebration. We are the typical ladies in our 40’s and 50’s, but southern kind though.

Trigger warning: We arrive at 9:30. The waiter comes, you could tell that he wasn’t going to be nice. We tell him that’s it’s 8 people and we were going to be separate checks, 4. He then proceeds to get mouthy about doing separate checks. Takes our order for drinks. While he was gone, we sat close together to make room for other guests. He comes back we ask if we just confused him and if it would be an issue. Again he gets mouthy and says, “it will be 1 check at the end anyway.” Not kidding he verbally said this. Huffing attitude the every interaction. I see a manager I had noticed the night before. I asked if we could have a different server. He obliged. A lady comes, takes our app order. We tell her what belongs with who that had already been ordered. I order 2 trio samplers, later on our group order other appetizers.

A little bit goes by and she comes to get the order, I and another person had stepped away. When we get back just a few minutes after she got the order, we sat for other 25 minutes before she returned, I tell her that I want the seafood pasta. She panics and says that the kitchen was closing and swiftly goes to tell them my order. Keep in mind at this point, we had already been there for 1.5 hours and just getting our order taken, even though we had been ready to order since before the replacement of the first server.

Ten minutes goes by and she comes with my order, it was Luke warm as if it had been tossed in a microwave and no concern if it was even hot, let alone if it was flavored. The other guest who had ordered their food a good 30-45 minutes prior still had not received their food. Only 3 of us ordered entrees, the rest of the group was just over the experience and did not order. One of the meals came back completely wrong but the waitress mentioned that she caught it when she ordered it incorrectly and the correct one should be out anytime.

Then comes the split of the bill. My bill being the highest. Gratuity is included on all our checks. However, mine was charged gratuity twice. The waitress said that she had to ring it up that way. I work with numbers, immediately noticed that meant I was giving her a double tip. I did mention to her about my food and she took it back, but not off my bill. As to not cause anymore delay or occurrence, I tried to accept the cost, food that was edible and double tip. But when she came back, I spoke up and asked her to remove the entree. She huff, but returns with it removed but the double tip was still there and still based on if the entree remained. I speak up, she huffs and says “ma’am you can just keep your trip. I did touch your plate and Bring it to you!” At this point, she had already looked down collecting the other checks to see that the other 3 gave more than gratuity. I said “no I have no problem paying for my check but want it to be right.” None of this was an elevated vocal communication between my party and the staff.

Long review but this was just absurd! Do tourist not look at their checks and just take it and the foul experience?

It shouldn’t be too shocking that I have had an upset stomach today after attempting to eat barely microwaved seafood pasta, as to not cause more of an issue during this eventful experience. Disappointed and embarrassed that this was the experience for my guests and I.

Oh and the “celebration” was over when we arrived and not as advertised,...

Good location, good amount of tables and dining capacity. Probably a favorite for seafood eaters, and the bar area was full of patrons obviously enjoying themselves. All positives. As far as my dining experience, it started with a zealous guy clearly in charge of deciding where to seat incoming diners. This was kind of funny as the place was not crowded. After a few minutes, with the hostess taking a phone call instead of seating us, we were led to our table, given menus by a nice young lady, and then sat there. So long that I began looking around for who might possibly be our server. There were only three other tables with patrons in the main dining room, it seems most sat in the bar area or outside (which is odd because it was a cold and stormy night). I finally asked a passing waitress if she was our server, since she'd been waiting on a booth right by us but she indicated that she was not our server, and she'd tell him we were looking for him. Our waiter, a pleasant enough fellow, was simply not very fast or attentive. It took quite a while to get drinks, and after food arrived, a long time to check in. I had to send my steak back for further cooking, which was still too red for me but as I'd already finished my potato and nudged the dismal broccoli away, I soldiered on. I had to spit out several bites of the "fillet mignon" (their misspelling, not mine) because it would not break down as I chewed. This was NOT filet mignon. In conclusion, I told our server that the steak was just unacceptable, showing him how difficult it was to cut a bite and pull it away from the rest of the meat. See pictures for how red the outside edge of a 'medium' filet was. The quality was apologized for, 'supply chain issues' were mentioned as likely being responsible. That may be true, but just stop selling that cut of meat as a filet. The desserts passing by looked great, but we were just ready to get...

This place had so many pros our first visit which is why we are choosing 3 stars. First night we walked in and we're greeted right off with smiles and enthusiasm that flowed into the service provided by our awesome server, Tom. We got water and our drink of choice, we got our table bread which was so soft and yummy, our grilled oysters came out fresh and hot, a long with the rest of our food. Wonderful, awesome, let's come again! Second night, we were not greeted with the same energy by any means, in fact it seemed more of annoyance, we were then seated and waited about 10 min before our server came to introduce himself. We placed our order and drink order quickly because we knew what we wanted. Our drinks come with no water, no coaster so there are puddles all over the table, my first drink came out with floating stuff in it, it was replaced, and then our oysters came out not hot and looked and tasted as if they may have been sitting for a minute before reaching the table. We never got our table bread while waiting either. We waved over the manager about the difference in service all the way around and he could not care less. We didn't even want a break in our bill, it was just disappointing to not get the same experience both times. The manager stated he felt the same because The live DJ started out the evening with slower music and he had been busy on the phone all day with DirecTV to get ready for football games for the next evening. Unfortunately, we do not plan on coming back. Pictured is...

Very mixed review here, so here’s the specifics: Good location on the water and the sunset views are fantastic. Lots of bar and grill food options and a free shot at sunset. During our visit for dinner, the servers were mostly absent and I only saw two servers outside to handle many customers. This is fine but our waitress in particular couldn’t handle her many tables very well. Appetizers and entrees were brought simultaneously. This is stealing from the customer as we would have never in a million years ordered all the food had we known it would come out together. Mistakes like this ruin the entire experience. The runner of the entrees wanted to bring them back, presumably to put under a warmer. No thanks. This is a pretty large place considering the seating outside and it’s really unappealing to have the food going back and forth. Just bring out the starters first. Apologies were made but some of the food should have been comped. Why am I paying for your mistakes? I should have complained but I go out to enjoy a meal and some drinks, not to waste my time complaining to strangers. I should’ve never been in this position in the first place. Finally, one of the side dishes was incorrect demonstrating that our server wasn’t overseeing our meal. This is the problem with runners bringing out the food. If the waitress is asleep at the switch, the runners aren’t aware that things are all wrong. Entrees were cold by the time we got to them. To end on a positive, we enjoyed their crab dip and chips.
