Very disappointed with the service received during dinner this evening. While the food itself was excellent—credit to the chef—the front of house service was far below expectations, particularly for a property under the JW brand and certainly not what one would expect as a Titanium client. Our server, Marissa, demonstrated behavior that was completely out of sync with the level of professionalism expected in this setting. Her demeanor was dismissive and unrefined, more suited to the back of house at a chain restaurant than interacting with guests at a high-end establishment. Her conduct left us feeling disrespected and unwelcome—something no guest should experience, especially when simply trying to enjoy a family dinner. What further disrupted our evening was having a manager approach our table right as my steak was served to discuss the issue. This only magnified the problem and made our experience even more uncomfortable. A seamless dinner should be uneventful in terms of service—not marked by unnecessary conflict or the need for managerial intervention during the meal. To be clear: I’m not seeking a free cocktail or dessert. What I value is a dinner that enhances my time with my family, not one that detracts from it. While we had additional dinner reservations booked during our stay in the residence suite this week, we have now canceled all of them following this experience. A sincere thank you to Jamie, who made a commendable effort to salvage the situation. Her professionalism and presence did bring some sense of recovery to an otherwise disappointing evening. Read moreI ate here 2 nights of the 3 nights I stayed at the resort. The first night, the food was very good, and the service was good, which is why I elected to eat there a second night. I ordered a few of the items that my sister and I had ordered the previous evening. Can I say consistency is not the strong point in the Latitude 28 kitchen? The tempting Greek salad my sister had the night before came without items described on the menu and other ingredients in sparse amounts. I am gluten-free. Although the waiter assured me most things could be made gluten-free, I found this not to be the case. The menu selections are limited for those who need to eat free of gluten. The first night I had the grilled octopus, Moroccan Spiced Stone Grilled chicken, Brussel sprouts, and the mango sorbet for dessert. Y'all...the octopus was amazingly good...excellent! It was fork tender, seasoned well, and served on a bed over top sweet potato purée. Without a doubt it is the best octopus I have eaten anywhere. The chicken was well cooked, but just okay when it came to tantalizing the palate. The kitchen substituted the couscous for roasted fingerling potatoes due to my gluten intolerance. The second evening, in addition to the "not the same" Greek salad, I re-ordered the octopus, and my sister ordered the Brussel sprouts prepared gluten-free. The Brussel sprouts fell into the category of "not the same." They were a disappointment. Lastly, the sorbets are the gluten free dessert option. The mango sorbet is okay, but don't order...never order...the tasteless, ice crystal infused...

We started out with 6 oysters that were served over crushed ice, seaweed salad garnish and a beautiful blueberry mignonette. SO FRESH🦪🫐
2nd course choice was the Smoked Burratta. Delicious cucumber pearl garnish, sun dried tomato & red orange segments. This is favorite item on the menu so far — right next to the Brussel Sprouts at dinner course. Presentations of all dishes were perfect🔥!

First 2 courses wine pairing was King Estate Pino Gris. Dinner course wine pairing was Masi Costasera Amarone. 🍷🍇
The pistachio dessert is the greatest pistachio anything I’ve ever tasted. Real gold leaves as garnishes for a lot of dishes on the menu. ⚜️⭐️
Dinner at Latitude 28 was orchestrated by Chef Ivan, Fabio & Dylan was truly was epic & I cannot wait to return and taste more!
