I had really no expectations when we visited 27 Club. Photos of the coffee drinks online were enough to lure us in, along with the MGK name but I was absolutely blown away by everything! The employee taking our order was super helpful and recommended the two food items we tried and she was on point! The flatbread arrived first and it was the best I’ve ever had. The flatbread dough was crispy on the outside edges and soft on the inside. The waffle pieces were crispy as well with a hint of sweetness. The chicken was moist and tender and the sauces and toppings perfectly melded together. It was perfection. We also ordered the Ultimate Nachos and they were very good as well! They were vegan but did not lack flavor- everything tasted fresh! Our iced pink lattes tasted as good as they looked as well! The decor is fun with cut out seating in the walls, outlets for charging electronics and a ton of seating elsewhere including outdoors and at the bar! There are a ton of spots for photo ops as well! The icing on the cake had to be EVERY staff member. Literally, EVERYONE was helpful, nice and super friendly! Someone came by to ask how everything was, and someone immediately came to me when I was trying to bus my table and cleared the dishes, and gave us water and to go boxes for the road. I haven’t had a guest experience like this in so long couples with amazing food and drinks but it was worth it and I plan on going back again and again. Highly recommend!

I stopped by to check out this really cool cafe owned by MGK. I wanted to see what the hype was about. I sure am happy that I did. The decor and vibe was really cool. There are definitely a lot of places for content and photo ops. The staff is super friendly and the menu is super unique. I arrived at 10 am and had to wait an hour before the bar opened so I started with the Iced Matcha Latte and Buffalo Chicken Bacon Ranch Flatbread. They said the matcha is lightly sweetened and made in larger batches. I got a double shot added to it, they interestingly only do blonde roast and it was my first time tasting it, I couldn't tell the difference, and pumps of salted maple syrup. It was a really delicious drink probably could've used a bit more salted maple syrup once I mixed in the shots of espresso but I embraced the slight bitterness. The Buffalo Chicken Bacon Ranch Flatbread was a buttery, slightly spicy, super savory blend of yumminess that I definitely recommend. I slowly enjoyed my matcha and flatbread while enjoying the music, vibes, and editing content before the bar opened and ordering the Espresso Martini. It was light and creamy, and packed a silent punch of alcohol that snuck up on me. I all in all enjoyed my trip from beginning to end!

In a bit of a offbeat location, but not hard to find. Parking is ample in the area. Beautiful building and design, color/decor layout give a nice feel, furniture a bit awkward, they need more small stool seats to go with the tables. One thing I did notice is they even offered high chairs. The staff is God awful and very unattentive(they honestly all need to be replaced with more focused, knowledgeable and customer friendly staff), from a bartender who doesn't pay attention to her totally empty bar when a patron walks up, sits and waits, to a cashier who fails to tell you what they are out of and who waves a to go box at me instead of bringing it to our table after I got up and asked for a box and was told sure as she walked away, to a drink runner who spills drinks on customers(yes spilled the latte on us and said oh sorry then went and got rags from the kitchen but didn't refill the latte), to a guy from the kitchen laying over the counter. The gentleman who I would believe is the manager was busy cleaning, checking on customers, running food and being professional (even lowering the television volume without being asked). Bathroom was iffy at best, didn't smell bad but was dirty with pump hand soap put directly on the sink ledge and dirty floors. Pricing is a bit high for the product, but average for The Flats. The best part of the visit was definitely the food. We had a bit of everything from their menu; lattes, cookies, cinnamon rolls, waffles, and flat bread pizza. Presentation was excellent, portion size was very good, taste shows time goes into the creations. Overall I'd say bring more money than a stop at your average cafe in Cleveland, if you're not in the area I wouldn't suggest going out of your way for a visit. PS ask for napkins, if not you won't get them

We were excited to give this place a try given the rave reviews. When we arrived on a Saturday morning to grab coffee and breakfast, there was a line out the door. I think they would greatly benefit from an additional register to help move people through the line faster. It took over an hour to order, and then we had to cancel our food because it didn't come out in time for our schedule. Leaving three stars because (1) the staff was friendly, understanding, and accommodating within our tight schedule, (2) the food we saw other people order looked great, (3) as others have pointed out, the atmosphere was very modern and fun. But, the coffees that we waited an hour to get were just average (though we just got standard cold brews instead of one of their fancier drinks, which did look yummy!). We arrived at 10:45ish and had to wait in line until 11:40 to order food! What is odd is that there were a number of empty tables both inside and outside when we placed our orders - it seems that the cashier and baristas are unable to keep up the speed to fill orders fast enough for the number of tables they have available (possibly because they lack the equipment!). The person who took our order at the register estimated it would take about 25 minutes to get our food, which worked within our tight timeline for the day. But, when we checked on our order after 25 minutes, a different server let us know it would be about another 20 minute wait. We had to cancel our order and get a refund due to our time constraint. This was kind of frustrating after waiting so long to even place an order.
