I’ve tried to like this place, I really have. I’ve given these people too much business because I truly do enjoy the food, however, I always seem to find something wrong when I go in here. During this pandemic, I believe we are expected to take extra precautionary measures in order to ensure the safety of both the customers and the staff. None of the employees at Annie’s were wearing masks, and when they made my food, I noticed that they were only wearing gloves on one hand, and at one point, no gloves at all. This is entirely unsanitary, especially in a time like this. The tables seemed to be poorly wiped down as I noticed bits of food on the table when I sat down, and it was very sticky. This place has to be violating some type of health codes set in place by the CDC in a time like this. In addition, my milkshake was not brought out on time. I had to ask them politely to make it for me because they hadn’t, which usually wouldn’t bother me in the slightest, but it really just set in stone how unorganized and awful this place really is. The girl making my food did apologize for this, though, so I wasn’t too bothered by that. However, when she brought the shake out, she was wearing only one glove and proceeded to touch my straw with her ungloved hand. I really want to like this place, but the complete disregard of safety during this pandemic is...
Read moreWe ordered two soups and a Ranch sandwich. All was just tolerable…soups were served barely warm and needed seasoning. Each cup of soup was $4.50 and the sandwich was $15. The sandwich had a mere two slices of thinly shaved roast beef, sliced pepperocinis and purple onion, slice of cheese. It came with one side of pasta salad…which was the best thing served. For $15 that sandwich should have been piled high with meat and served attractively on the plate. It was virtually tasteless and double what it should have cost. The man next to us was served a sandwich with hair in it…the way they treated the situation when he showed them was crazy…the gal literally took the top piece of bread off his sandwich and walked away. Bizarre. It is hard to mess up iced tea but it was the cloudiest, old tea we’ve ever seen. Anyway, don’t waste time or money here. Food is bad. Service not much better. The gal making ice cream floats in front of us was using her gloved hands to place ice cream into the drinks. Those gloved hands are the same gloves she used to wipe counters and perch herself against the counter and handle everything in between. Just nasty. Do yourself a favor and eat across the street at Irma’s where the food and service are...
Read moreThis place desperately needs some help. Do NOT EAT HERE. We went in for a simple Ice Cream. Waited in a long line…Then waited 30 minutes while watching people that came in after us get their ice cream…Finally my Husband went and told the Manager and she said they couldn’t find us….but we were sitting on a table right in front of where they make the ice cream and we NEVER saw anyone walking with ours. So apparently they were going to remake it. The server named Riley got mad and had 3 of her young teenage boyfriends sitting at the bar and asked her what was wrong and she said some DUMB customer didn’t get their ice cream and I got in trouble. Then the boys all turned and looked at us. So my Husband just went and asked for a refund. I did get up and let in to her. All the young people working behind the counter were interested in doing was talking to each other and their friends. I also saw the Manager go make herself an ice cream and start eating it while still behind the counter where the food was being made…all while we were still waiting for ours. Don’t even try to use the restroom here it is NOT sanitary. It’s filthy. The whole restaurant was filthy and the tables outside...
