As written by the youngest in our group. Gone and forgotten: a few pronghorn and cows: the epic first movie.
Once upon a time a family came to Cody in search of the mysterious and wild Mustang horses that roamed the badlands nearby. They decided to go to Red Canyon Wild Mustang Tours. After about a half hour of driving, they arrived at the tour center. A friendly man greeted them. This friendly man was also attempting to scam them; instead of asking for normal prices, he attempted to make them pay 15 dollars in excess. Thankfully this didn't work and soon enough they were on their way. After a few minutes of cruising down the highway, nearly passing two horses due to the tour guide's utter and complete incompetence, they reached the first horse viewing area. Bump, bump, bump they went down a rocky road. No horses. Bump, bump, bump they went down another rocky road. No horses. I get that you can't guarantee the appearance of functionally wild beings but at least act like you know what you're doing.
End of story: don't go here, do go here. I don't care. But the tour guide had no idea what he was doing, man.
Seriously, the tour guide was very nice but seemed to have trouble deciding where to go and asked the passengers where he should go. Oh and the...
Read moreDon't waste your money, tour company is not using any of their income to make your experience nice. I go on tours to learn about the area. Our guide seemed knowledgeable, however, those of us in the back couldn't hear anything. Their rickety old vans could use speakers so back half of the van can hear. AC didn't work well, back of van very hot.
Tour never left the road, so we were NOT off-roading. Never went over a creek or any type of waterway. Got out of vehicle twice...no problem. Try riding in the back of one of your own vehicles to see how awful it is. Would not have minded the vehicle if I could've heard the information the guide was giving.. that's why I book a tour. We could've driven out to the mustang...

The ride itself was fun and everything was good except for the customer service we received. One of the ducky boats our group rented ripped at the beginning of the ride. Not sure why it happened because we were following the guide. When we asked if we could get a refund for the two people who were in the ripped ducky, since they weren’t all able to enjoy the ride and only got through 5 min of it, we were told no and that if anything we should be paying for the damage. I don’t think that was fair of the owner to say something like that and to not even offer a refund or...
