Pizza can b great if u don't lose your appetite with the horrible customer service. Once u become a regular u start to see things. We order the same thing every time, the vegan pizza and vegan pasta both with extra toppings and cashew cheese crispy not burnt. Can never get them consistent. The first 8 times we went there was no extra charge for the extra veggies and cheese. However, one time we asked for the pizzas a little crispier and got eye rolling attitude to the max. Since then we have been charged for the extra cheese and veggies. First time they charged 2.00 then next time 4.00. Apparently adding extra to your food is extremely inconvenient and painful for their employees, a total fight to b honest. Its sad cuz its one of the few places that has vegan ingredients. After fighting to get what we ask for AGAIN, an employee brings us two boxes of the wrong pasta. It was supposed to come in a white dish but who knows what went wrong. She stood their lost not knowing what to do and we told her to forget it and that it was OK we will eat what she brought. Then a few minutes later rolling eye manager comes, she might not even b the manager and might just b acting like she is, comes up with the confused employee and asks us if we were aware we got the wrong pasta. My daughter was so frustrated at this point and told her to at least let us eat in peace. And obviously we know cuz we were the ones that brought it up to the confused one. Rude. Rude. Rude. Then they all stand behind the counter gossiping and staring at u giving dirty looks like its middle school. Get to work girls. People should get what they order without a fight. Pizza is so soggy sometimes we use a fork to eat it. And if I'm willing to pay all ur different fees for my extra toppings and cheese what is the problem? Extra charges depend on their moods. Very frustrating and...
Read moreOne day I felt like looking up, "Best pizza in Colorado Springs" just to see what would pop up - and I was most certainly NOT disappointed!
Bambino's is absolutely fantastic. There's a menu but you can just outright create your own pizza with your own toppings for a flat $11! I thought, "Okay how much are these toppings going to cost?" Not a penny! They allow you to make your own pizza with your own toppings from their selection just about however you like (and their topping selection is pretty top notch)! Now I'm not a fan of red sauce (or tomato anything in general, blech) so I opted to try their "Bianca" or white sauce... Oh. My. GOODNESS!!! THE BEST WHITE SAUCE I'VE EVER HAD, WOW!!! I love a good ranch based sauce, but whatever their Bianca sauce is made of just absolutely rocked my socks off and absolutely no other pizza place I've ever been to in my life compares!
The service is also outstanding. Since it was our first time trying Bambino's, we ordered big. One other thing we ordered was the pasta (which was also 5 star quality) but I did not receive it at pick up and didn't notice until I got back to the car. We went back in and one employee was looking around yelling out to see if our order had already been picked up. We walked up and said yes but we were missing our pasta and just came back for it; she seemed so happy and relieved to get our food to us! That just shows me that above all else they do really care and value their customer's experience at their pizzeria and look to deliver quality service on top of already absolutely amazing food.
Well, that about wraps up my very first experience at Bambino's and I can't wait to go back! Did you read this whole review? Then what are you doing!? Go order Bambino's now, and if they're closed just start thinking about your perfect pizza creation now because you HAVE to try...
Read moreSecond time eating here. Came in with my 3 kids about 830. I really want it to be five stars, but not sure I can fully get there.
First off, the service was GREAT. The people working greeted us, explained things, and invited us to participate in the ordering process. The main person helping us provided lots of options and was very helpful. It felt like they wanted us there.
The variety of toppings and quality of ingredients is top notch. Very very good. The kids pizzas came with drinks, and they all got to customize their own 6” pizzas. The pizzas were cooked well and generously sized.
The reason for 4 stars is that in both visits, the pizzas were made kinda sloppily. Given the attentiveness of the employees, it seems strange to me so maybe it is supposed to be that way?
For example. In my son’s pepperoni pizza, two slices were more than 50% crust, and there was an unmanageable amount of cheese piled up off center on the other side of the pizza. In my daughter’s pizza with more toppings, they were unevenly distributed, to the point it negatively impacted the food. Pizza always has some slices with more or less of something, but this was an extreme. This was on both visits, about two months apart.
And I don’t understand why because again, the employees were on it!!! Eager to help, glad we were there, and appeared to be well trained and quite good at their jobs!
It may not be my TOP pizza place in the springs, but I would still go back. Maybe just keep your eye on how the construct your pizza and kindly ask to spread things out a bit if you don’t like it. Seems like they would...
