This is has always been my go to Starbucks, for YEARS....its the closest to my home so I go almost daily. I've NEVER had an issue until this current early morning staff. I walk in, I say good morning, no one speaks back....fine no biggie...as a former customer service rep, I'm just an advocate for good customer service.....greeting your customer is basic and bare minimum, still I got nothing every single morning. This morning particularly rubbed me the wrong way. Once again, I spoke, no one spoke back...picked up my mobile order and the cup was over filled...to the point where the lid sitting on top had coffee literally pouring over the sides...I didn't realize it til I picked it up and it spilled...so I'm cleaning up the spill as the two girls are watching me, neither offering help, although one of them fixed the coffee this way....finally I asked for another cup to accommodate the over filled cup....no one, I mean no one acknowledged it...or moved with any urgency, And at this time in the morning, it was only me and the 2 girls. One was standing, the other eating and watching me. Read more6 pm...no coffee brewed!?! So we wait the five minutes. They have pumpkin bread, my favorite, we order 2 pieces. The dude puts both in one bag which i thought was odd being there are two of us and two pieces of bad. Not only did he put both pieces in one bag he put then in the bag upside down which i also thought was odd. So. Five or ten miles down the road we decide to eat our pumpkin bread and as luck would have it we have banana nut bread! Had the bread been in the bag right side up i would've noticed immediately and exchanged with no problem. I was sooo disappointed! Normally i don't indulge in Starbucks goodies for health reasons but every now and then i splurge. Especially in the fall when they bring in their pumpkin delights. Now being that turning around and going back wasn't an option we eat what seemed like day old banana bread. Wondering how and who at Starbucks lets the coffee pot run dry we decided it was the dude who served us the wrong bread and then came to the conclusion that they needed to get rid of the old stuff and who would know the diff until miles down the road? Tasted like it came out of a vending machine. As far as the service. The young lady who took the order was very kind, but the young lady making the drinks was too busy socializing with the regular customers to call out names. She was just throwing the food on the counter. A lot of confusion. When I thought my order was up she told me it wasn’t mine. So I walked away embarrassed. I stood there for awhile, to turn back around to see my drink just sitting on the counter getting cold. She never called my name. Don’t ask my name if you are not going to call it.
