First off, I love this deli so much and I used to come here all the time before work to get a decent breakfast and or lunch but after last week what I experienced makes me never want to spend money here again. I walk in and I try to place my order, I was ignored twice as I realize that most of the people working there are Caucasian. Now I don’t go into food restaurants assuming everyone is racist, but the actions that I experienced last week was without a doubt racism. After I was ignored twice I place my order and a plus size white woman is glaring at me and giving me attitude as if I’m not a regular customer. After that exchange with that “lady”who was helping me I decided to take a step back and think if it is just me or maybe they are having a bad day but then i realized that there was only one person who showed me kindness while the rest of the staff just sat around talking instead of working. I typically go in before the rush because as a customer who comes in there regularly, I know what hours are the busiest, and it was not busy at all but it took forever for my food to come out to where I thought they forgot about me. It was dirty and most the staff looked like they haven’t washed their hands in ages. I saw their ungloved hands texting on their phones and then preparing people’s food. I hate how so many businesses are declining because of lack of appropriate staffing. I feel as though most of these people need to be properly trained on working at a deli or maybe finding a job that’s a little easier for their brains to handle. I was not going to write this review because I understand how food service establishments are, but I was just thinking about it, and it honestly enraged me because I kept on thinking about how poorly I was treated. I will never come back again, and I will be posting this on multiple social media outlets to warn my fellow black Peers to never eat here ever unless they want to be discriminated against. I hope your business changes or at...
Read moreIt's busy Downtown fair. I was greeted by Lexi214 at the register and asked for a corned beef sandwich because thatss what I saw online in the pictures. She rattled off the branded name for it and when I asked "What is that?" She handed me a beat up menu and told me it has all the descriptions of the items. I said sorry? No? I didn't take my glasses with me at 57. I asked again for the same sandwich and she rung it in. Then asked if i want it slim or large? I clarified that slim meant small and agreed. I was given a table number and looked at her. I asked if this is how they will bring everything out? She said "yeah." For my younger coworker, she must have found her pep and joy because now she was very happy to talk to a 32 y.o. male. She even volunteered to read the menu to him, who doesn't need glasses, but not for me. Yeah, I noticed. Is ok. Not needing to ever go back. Food was dry but tasty. Was I supposed...
Read moreNovember 3, 2025 at 10:53 AM I ordered through DoorDash am I food arrived at 11:22 AM I do not think that’s bad timing being considered. It takes time to make the food. I do not live far from the area only 6 miles as you can see with the picture I order the Reuben sweet potato fries, and fried mushrooms. I was very disappointed because of how much I paid for the mushrooms. I only got five mushrooms in the order. My sweet potato fries were very cold and my sandwich was dry. Had no sauce on the sandwich. Luckily, I thought I was about to get into some thousand island which I had ordered on the side Come to find out it was not thousand Island at all. It was some type of sweet sauce which I did not like at all. Be ordering from...
