Veri Best Donut Co — Restaurant in Columbus

I will not be mean because I know those who know this name above, just like me are basing it on previous experience. We are used to the little ole building on the corner of Talbotton Rd, next to the PJ's. The little elderly lady comes up takes your order through that screen and no matter what you order she got it, you wait (you don't care how long) and she brings that white bag to that window and slides that screen up. Oh my goodness you knew you had some magical goodness that was just indescribable. The new experience here is not that but okay. My oder was not taken easily and then I was asked for my ticket as they felt I was not charged for all my donuts.....we won't even discuss what 2 dozen cost if one mixed. It was worth the memories brought back though. I appreciate them trying to bring back the old recipes. Some of them are good just miss that good buttery melt...

These are truly the best donuts in Columbus, and the best I have had since I moved to Georgia. We found this place during a Saturday at the open air market. Seeing the name of the shop, I figured as a donut aficionado that I would be the judge; They did not disappoint! In fact I have been three times in the past 10 week, even risking missing church to stop by early on a Sunday morning. I love the twist. The absolute BEST donuts around. I am a complete donut connoisseur. You sell donuts, I’ll be there. This place knows what they’re doing. Are they cheap?? Nope. But I will spend it over and over again. First of all, you’re supporting small business. But secondly, it’s the best donuts you’ll ever put in your mouth. The croissant donut is to die for. Think flaky and sweet. The cinnamon twist is a must with coffee (Iron Banks coffee across the street is the best coffee around). The chocolate donut, the maple bacon…omg alllll of them. Go....
