Wine on High Bar & Retail — Restaurant in Columbus

I have nothing but fantastic things to say about Wine On High! I have had several different private parties in the upstairs loft. It is a perfect intimate environment for a gathering. Both times I had around 30 people. I was able to pre-pick a yummy appetizer buffet, my favorite wines, and specialty cocktails. The staff was very accommodating, polite, and quick to fill a drink. We felt as if it was our own private downtown loft. We could bring in our own decorations, music, and really customize the space. On a side note, they allowed for people to purchase their own drinks and add flat breads or cheese boards. That is a very nice option. I would highly recommend anyone hosting an event here.

I have also simply met a friend for a glass of wine, and have been just as comfortable. Great wine selection, smart staff, and nicely priced.

We had a large group for a business dinner at Wine on High last night. The service was exceptional and the food was excellent. Working with Tina Stiver on getting the private event space booked and the details finalized was flawless. She was incredibly professional and helpful, leading me through all the decisions needed to host a great evening for our guests. The service at the dinner was excellent and our guests enjoyed the food and drinks. I love that they have multiple event menus to choose from, which makes it easy to pick the one that works best for your tastes and budget. Although the event space (loft) was a little tight for our large group (I think we ended up with 18 for dinner), the evening went very well. My wife and I were in the Short North for a long weekend and came across Wine on High. What a stroke of good luck. First, they have a nice selection of reasonably priced wine choices. Second, for those that rather have a beer they have cans of beer available (one on tap) as well as a limited cocktail menu. Third and most important they have a friendly and knowledge team that work there. We loved hanging out at the bar and talking with Andy and getting tips on things to do in the Short North. In fact, we liked it so much we went back there the next night and had another great experience. I almost forgot to mention that they also have appetizers available which included a nice charcuterie board. If you're in Columbus make sure to stop by...
