Salty and greasy. Brought entire family with kids to experience Filipino food again. Should have just walked away when another lady was rude and rushing kids to pick their meal. She went out of the counter and asked customers behind us in the queue to ask their order instead of helping the lady in the counter finish our order first. After the lady in the counter finished taking all our orders she gave a single thin piece of table napkin to each. Couple of the order had some irritating pepper bits. The rise sweet balls in skewer is soaked in oil that smell like old frying oil. Like a reused/recycled dated oil. When we could not finish the food because they were so greasy and salty we decided to take the leftover home for the dogs to eat. I went back to ask for plastic bag but the lady was charging me 15 cents! I paid credit card for 130$. In no way will I get $15 cents anywhere. Refused to give me bag. I went to the grill next to it, and got bags with no questions. This Ima's Kusina lady is miserable and doing a miserable way of doing things...

The beef Caldereta was good, the lumpia shanghai is okay and kakanin tray was decent but the Dinakdakan was bitter. The pork and liver used were over-grilled, you could actually tell by the looks of it. The taste was awfully bitter like you were tasting “charcoal”. Our guests had the same comment too so it wasn’t just my tastebuds. The food was untouched after trying a spoonful or two. My husband went to the store 2 days after to provide feedback about it but the lady at the cashier just asked his name and the date the food was picked up and said “I’ll tell the kitchen”. There was no apology given or any other act initiated so they could make up for their mistake. We weren’t expecting for a refund but be apologetic at the least. We wasted money and time...

My GF and I were walking pass a couple devouring a tub of Halo Halo, so I had to stop and ask where they got that bowl of goodness from???? We immediately halled over to Ima's. For just over $10, we watched our food server build this crazy tower with scoop after scoop of this and that...others behind us watched and were also in awe. This was the largest Halo Halo I've ever had. And, the moment of truth as we dug in did not disappoint.......
