Sushi Raku — Restaurant in Concord

This is my favorite sushi place in the Contra Costa area, for nearly two years now.

I always try to see if I can fit in my work schedule to see if I can get some food from here this place whenever I feel like eating sushi. As the prices for sushi here are very well done. For $8.99 which is basically one of the sushi platters that you could get you would get served miso soup as well as sweet salad/honey salad.

Now not only does this place so great fresh sushi for a good price and a good portion size, but come here long enough the people who work here start to recognize you and would start to work with you with different types of sushi rolls that fits your taste and whatnot and you can actually develop a good relations and whatnot if you want to make this place your go to. What am I trying to say is that the staff are very very friendly and you can just basically talk to them about you know day-to-day life they'll basically be fine with it from my experience.

Overall if good sushi for a good price doesn't get you then of course they're amazing customer service would also try to get you as well.

For this place if I could give it any higher it would be an 11 out of 10 or even maybe higher but I can only give it a five stars in this...

After hearing great things about this hidden gem from a Facebook Group I decided to try them

I called the store & the lady who picked was super friendly & sweet.

After placing my order I set off with my service pupper in training to pickup our order

When we arrived, we were both welcomed in & the lady gave me a bottle of water & a bowl for my dog. He was so thankful

Once we got back home with my order I was shocked by the portion sizes. By far the biggest I've seen & on top of that they threw in some extra food

The Chicken Teriyaki was sooo good & the sushi rolls are big

This is now my favorite Sushi Spot & I will not be going anywhere else!!!!

Hidden Gem! Don't let the exterior fool you - this unassuming sushi spot transforms into a luxurious oasis inside. Ambience is top-notch, making you feel like you're in a high-end restaurant.

Food: Exceptional! Sushi was fresh, delicious, and expertly prepared.

Service: Impeccable! The owner personally checked on us throughout dinner, ensuring everything met our expectations.
