7-26 - grabbed my Bagel & Lox this morning & requested it in the flat box & it was perfect. Also grabbed a bagel & Sour cream & onion smear - superb, as well
7/23 - I'm a huge bagel & lox guy, so when I saw Einstein Bros' return to Conroe, I'd bet I sounded like a kid at Christmas. Obviously, they're good as I failed to snap a pic until I was nearly 1/2 way through. So, there was a line, 4 or 5 long & being newly opened, I'm sure many have been fairly indecisive, studying before ordering. There's 1 cashier & 6 or 8 food preppers behind the counter, so ordering took a moment at 0930, but like I said, they're kind of slammed. I got to the register in a few minutes & ordered my Nova Lox, as I realized that this small establishment echoes horrifically, so the cashier was loud, but we both struggled a bit to hear eachother; nothing that I'd drop points in my review for, just an observation - Speak up when ordering. $13+ for my bagel & a Monster, which isn't bad, IMO. Bagel was good and it had a solid smear and a healthy amount of salmon & capers (no onion or tomato - perfectly made as ordered). I downed it all as I've been typing & I plan on getting another order to go. So my main criticism today isn't the line or the noise, but the presentation for a To-go order - my bagel was prepared, then restacked in a wrapper causing it to need rebuilding on the topside before eating as most fell to the bottom. I'm hoping this is a lack of boxes & not indicative of the new norm - I'd despise having to do this every visit. All in all, I'm happy with this experience & I will return gladly. ** I just spoke with the franchise owner who told me that sandwich-style is the norm for a bit - they don't do it at the Einstein Bro's in the Woodlands Methodist Hospital, but he also said I could request a box next time. Also, I got an order of Nova Lox to go & curiosity got to me before departure of the parking lot & I opened them to find 1 slice of Salmon. As in single. Returned for the owner to take care of me with a smile, but I want to say 1 thing about Conroe, especially; Do NOT think that speed of service is replaced by shoddy build. You will hear from people & those that YOU don't hear from, you can bet they'll tell a hundred others by weeks end. If I were a manager here, I'd have a retrain & signed documentation of it with a solid warning that if it happens again, consequences will occur. Just how I run things, and I was a retail manager...
Read moreWhen I went up to place my order the girl was so nice and professional. She had told me my total which was 11.75 for half a dozen bagels and shmear. I handed her a $20. She had politely asked me if I had any change because she didn’t have change in her register. Before I could even say anything, MICHELLE right beside her rudely told her just to round it up. Like no!!!! How many times do they do this to ppl. I know it was just 25 cents of a difference, but at any establishment they just ask if it’s ok to round it up and the decision is up to the customer not the employee. Michelle overall was very very rude to me and the girl there. I had to pay...
Read moreI stopped by Einstein Bros. Bagels to pick up breakfast for my team, and Ashley at the counter completely blew me away with her service. I had a pretty large and detailed order, but she handled it with total professionalism, speed, and a great attitude.
Not only did she make sure everything was correct, but she also helped me package it all up in a way that made it super easy to carry back to the office. She even double-checked the order without me asking—something you rarely see!
My team was thrilled with the food, and I was even more impressed with the service. Ashley, thank you for making my morning stress-free. Einstein Bros. is lucky...
