I had made a post on a fb group a month or so back asking recommendations for steak besides Chandlers. It's a special occasion.. i got married today! So it was my Mini reception. Many great suggestions. I chose Lock Stock and Barrel My review would be a subpar 4/10 I called about month ago to make the reservation after I made the post. In the post i was told about private rooms. So I had inquired how much the banquet fee would be for a party of 10. I was told don't worry about it.. . With a size party we have that they most likely will put us in a private room anyways. We ended pictures was early and our grandmother was getting tired so called ahead and asked if our reservation could be moved early. They said yes. We get there. Host / Bartender was nice. We were sat at a Very cramped booth table combination in the main room. Even though I was told one thing and got another I didn't say anything because we did not pay for a room so at that point it would have been a "he said she said argument". Waiter I have no negative or positive feelings towards. He did he job. Did he Acknowledge the very special occasion... no. I originally ordered prime rib but my mom ordered rack of lamb and I found our they carried mint jelly. I'm pregjnant and looooove lamb and mint jelly. Before he left the table to put the order in I changed my order to just that. On the promises of mint of jelly. My mother ordered hers first and is equally obsessed with this mixture. Once the food came. My plate had the jelly but my mother's didn't. When we asked for the jelly we were informed that what I had on my plate was the last of the jelly. 😬 so on my wedding day AND pregnant I had to give up what I was craving on pure principles. She ordered it first. This annoyed me because I would have happily ordered something else if I was informed prior. So as I say with the rack of lamb missing its jelly. The meat was Luke warm and lacking huge flavor. My son got the prime rib and he stated his meal was also lacking good flavor. Over all for the amount of money I would not have made it my memory place for my special occasion.

This was difficult to review-- service was fine, atmosphere was kind of weird, and half the food was absolute garbage but the other half was amazing. The atmosphere is kind of Sizzler-esque. Like an upscale Denny's. There was a duo singing live in the dining room and I couldn't tell you what their genre was, maybe like folk church lady? Service was good. Wine and beer choices were not great. We had the Sampler Platter ($22) with crab cakes, calamari, and bacon-wrapped shrimp. It was so bad we couldn't even eat it. The bacon smelled like it was old somehow? It was grey. The crab cakes were all filler, no crab, like eating breadcrumb mush. The calamari were ok but the odor of the bad bacon and shrimp turned us off on the entire thing. Just gross. We got the salad bar with our meal, so we checked it out-- standard Sizzler-style, with iceberg lettuce, cottage cheese, garbanzo beans, only creamy dressings. The clam chowder was nasty-- cool room temp and gluey, like it had just been glooped out of a can and hadn't had the proper amount of liquid added to thin it. We honestly weren't expecting it to be better. At this point we were dead set against ever coming back, and really feeling like we screwed up picking this place. But then the steak arrived. The dry aged 28oz ribeye ($63) was absolute perfection. It had that extra-meaty taste that comes from dry aging, and was a really beautiful cut. Seared crispy on the outside and perfectly medium rare on the inside-- it was a work of art. Two of us ate what we could and still took home leftovers, which were just as good the next day. I did get mushrooms and peppercorn sauce (asked for them on the side but they came on the steak), and had I known they were another $8 I would have skipped them (this was not disclosed on the menu or by the server, but a surprise when we got the bill). So overall, I can't recommend anything here EXCEPT the steak, which might actually be worth the visit all on its own. I'm guessing the rest of their meat is done well based on my experience. Just wade through the rest of the menu at your own risk.

Place was fantastic went here for a celebration with my girlfriend for a late 21st birthday. There was a slight mix up on my order, nothing major, but they did everything they could to make it right, above and beyond what I expected. I wasn't even trying to complain, I mentioned it in passing and the owner or manager came out to our table and profusely apologized, even bought me a drink plus gave us a discount on our meal. Fantastic selection of bourbon/whiskey and my girlfriend really liked not only the selection of wine but the one she got based on our server's recommendation. Our server was very knowledgeable, not only on the menu but how things were prepared, how long each meat was aged, specific drinks, and specific details about everything we could possibly. Very satisfied with not only the experience and presentation of the restaurant itself, but the food was tremendous as well. I personally got the 28oz cowboy ribeye and while it is a little on the pricey side it was a 100% worth it as the meat was fantastic and everything our server said about the taste and how dry aging affects the meat was accurate and true. The potatoes were incredible and the salad at the salad and soup bar was extremely fresh definitely will becoming back.

Alrighty...tried this place for the first time. Great atmosphere. There was a band playing which was cool. The tables were set nice when we sat down. There were glasses on the table. Both of our glasses had lip prints on them. Yuck. Our waitress quickly got us new glasses. We asked for recommendations. Our waitress suggested the barrel steak and the mozzarella filet. We went with those. They have a salad bar with soup you get with your order. The salad bar was okay. Nothing spectacular. But, we were there for the steaks! The food presentation was good. I had the horseradish mashed potatoes with the barrel steak and my hubby had the scalloped potatoes with the filet. The barrel steak was a top sirloin (not my normal go to) and I had it cooked medium. It came out perfect. But...it was so dang tough! I had mushrooms put on top for $3.99 and it was not worth it. The mozzarella topped filet was ordered medium rare and it was cooked perfectly. It was actually REALLY good. The price is spendy, which if fine for a good steak. There just wasn't a wow factor with these steaks. Our waitress was top notch! It was fun to try out once.

What a difference a few months makes. The meat was cooked to order and was delicious. Our reservation was ready when we arrived and we were seated when we arrived. So far so good. Then it starts to fall apart. Great waitress, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. When our dinner arrived after about 5 bites of my rice pilaf there was a very long hair in the rice. GROSS We were seated near the top of the staircase near the POS system and where the service staff congregated. I get you need to stand somewhere to be able to see the floor and watch your tables. I don't quite understand what makes it acceptable to be loud and noisy with your talking and laughing while people are dining. DISAPPOINTING At some point during dinner I managed to spill a good portion of my horseradish on the table. While dirty dishes were taken away and drinks were refilled and dessert was brought no one cleaned up the spill. Didn't use my napkin to clean it up because we were not given clean or fresh napkins with dessert. Not cleaning up my mess is UNACCEPTABLE Food was cooked as ordered. Prime rib was very good. Service was great!

This was my first time eating here and I had the 14 oz ribeye and the salad bar. I did like the chicken soup from the salad bar it was very good. The steak was very moist but lacked flavor. I had to put a lot of salt on it to enhance the steak. The lunch price for a 14 oz steak was $28 and dinner prices are a lot more. I felt for the price the flavor should have been a lot better for the steak. Also for the price there was really only one side. I paid $2.50 extra to have the salad bar. Otherwise my steak would have only come with either a salad or fries or soup. I think salad and a potato should be a standard side dish for these with no extra charge. $28 is more than enough to include those sides. A baked potato was an upcharge. I will try this place again and hopefully it's better next time. UPDATE: I went back and had the prime rib dinner and I really enjoyed it. It was so much better and had great flavor. It seems to be very popular. But they did a great job with the flavor. I will come back to have this meal again.
