Where should I start? From the start! We were placed on a 30-minute wait, which turned out to be more like 45 minutes (I had to stand in front of the main door for them to see me). Then we sat and ordered warm cheese. After a very long wait, the cheese finally arrived, with a small portion of chips, not considering we were 6 in total. Of course, we ran out of them quickly, and again, it took long to refill it. Then, we ordered a pitcher of sangria (in the menu it clearly says for 5); we were only able to fill 4, not fully, though because of the amount of ice in both the pitcher and the cups(pic). I was told (not by the server) that a pitcher of sangria wasn't the same as the pitcher of Margarita as an excuse :( That same supervisor then came back and asked, NOT offered an extra glass "if I wanted". I rejected it. Anyways, there was nothing special in it; a $10 bottle would have tasted better. After waiting for an hour and two minutes (with 2 kids), our food finally came out. The food was not bad, but it was definitely lower than our expectations, considering the level of restaurant in that particular area. I have to say, though, they took off the warm cheese from our bill for the long wait. Yaaay! The restaurant looks very nice inside, but unfortunately, we had a very disappointing experience. We will not go back; there are more options nearby.

Stumbled upon the restaurant casually walking around Coronado with my daughter Didn’t have a reservation, but the team accommodated us with ease . The time was approximately 3.20pm on a Sunday Ordered the following mains Chicken burrito Chicken fajita (it’s served with cheese on top which is opted against) And a guacamole starter Food quality was first class. Authentic Mexican flavours were flowing from the choices we had made Couldn’t fault the food Ambiance - great vibe and spacious restaurant. Rest rooms were very well maintained. Drinks - I chose to drink coffee and daughter chose a water melon mocktail- she loved the drink and would recommend this . The menu is littered with a huge range of margaritas wish I didn’t try but would love to if I wasn’t driving Host - Our host was Alina . The service offered by her was outstanding.. Alina knew the menu extremely well was able to advise on dietary requirements and I was very impressed with the depth of knowledge she had on the menu and the ingredients. Courteous, helpful and very professional The restaurant ambience service and the food come highly recommended if you’re in the area and you would like to eat Mexican this has got to be my first choice so far. Thank you

Had a gathering here. Very lively inside and good assortment of food and drinks on the menu. The Paloma was good - except I didn't know it was an alcoholic drink because there was no mention of alcohol on the actual menu. It was fruity and very strong alcohol-wise 😵‍💫. I personally tried the grilled shrimp taco. Nice blend of shrimp, cabbage, and sauce. Went for the white corn taco, unfortunately it came soggy pretty quickly. Also not sure what type of rice it was on side, it was wet... and salty. The black beans also bled into the other parts of the dish, I wonder whether the restaurant thought about using a plate with dividers to 'protect' the tacos. The place got busy very quickly so the servers were like "hang on" or "just a sec" whenever I tried to grab their attention (eg water or extra cutlery). Not rude or anything, just felt rushed and dismissed sometimes. They always made sure I got what I had needed though. The bathrooms were clean, and they refill the chips and water constantly. Had a really fun time there. They have various indoor and outdoor sitting options - near the bar, sit-in cubicle tables and high table with stools, and also a few tables outside. Pretty good place overall.

Was really excited for a Blanco to open up in Coronado after going to a few of the AZ locations. The menu was slightly different and had some editions I was very excited to try. We were seated on time for our reservation and our server was very kind - no issues on the service end. Unfortunately, all the issues came with our food and beverages. We ordered a pitcher of margaritas which ended up leaving a bitter, almost rancid aftertaste. Something was very off, especially after our bar margaritas while waiting for our table were perfect. We let our waiter know and asked to swap them for a different flavor which ended up tasting great. The first pitcher was never offered to be comped or removed from our bill which fine, maybe we needed to explicitly ask for it to be removed from our bill. I figured saying the first pitcher tasted very off and bitter and ordering a completely different one was enough info to provide.

Onto the food, our guacamole was very under-seasoned while our sweet corn tamale was over-seasoned and very one note. The chicken pastor tacos had no pineapple or really any resemblance of pastor flavors. The chicken was very black and burnt tasting from the grill char and almost felt like some chicken breast was slapped on the grill to save face? I'm not convinced it was pastor. The tortillas were very dried out and crispy on the edges from sitting in the window. The batch of tortilla chips we got the second time around were way over cooked and bitter. My friend's beans turned into a crusty crunchy situation from sitting in the window too long as well.

Overall, the meal was very underwhelming. We'd like to return a few months down the road not during the holiday season. Some quality control in the kitchen and on expo...
