Seaside Papery — Local services in Coronado

I’m all about supporting local businesses and this is a gorgeous little store, beautifully curated that you can spend hours just browsing around, shop, enjoy and admire every little item.

I walked into the store in hope of buying birthday presents for my female staff, as I was browsing every corner I got to the stuff on the back of one of tables, a young female staff approached in an awkward way from the other side with a disturbing load tone “can I help you with something”, i was like, what?!!! Perhaps she assumed I intended to steal something from them which is very sad and frankly pathetic. Considering at that point, I hadn’t even touched ANYTHING yet!

When you have such a store packed with tiny cute items you should expect people browsing around and admiring what you have, instead by harassing them and trying to make them uncomfortable you are just going to go out of business very fast.

I ended up walking out of that store in less than two minutes not...

Terrific store! I could stay in here all day (and I love the outdoors)! Creative products, and BLACKWING PENCILS! 💜 The staff was very friendly & helpful for us as we decided on which items needed to come home with us. I visit once or twice a year & their products are always up to date & fun. —TIP: I love their $6 vintage style posters! —TIP: You can buy single Blackwing pencils, but you may ask for the already-sharpened ones to try them out first. (Soft, balanced, or extra firm) —TIP: they have a number of beautiful & unique wrapping papers that are $5 and also fun to utilize differently. Use an exact knife to cut shapes out of them! Always prefer supporting small businesses and there are circumstances where grace is to be given by customers to the business. I stop in this store frequently to pick up stationary, cards, small gifts. However, the last 3 occasions customer service has been awful and lack of helpful, pleasant customer service.
