Overview: Known among locals as the "Navy Seal Bar," this establishment lives up to its reputation as one of the coolest hangout spots in town. My visit here provided unique insights into the heart of the community. Local Vibes: The authenticity of this place shines through, thanks in no small part to its staff, who are proudly local and have a genuine warmth for fellow residents. It's true, this spot isn't particularly tourist-centric, but that's precisely what gives it its charm. Patriotic Support: One thing that's immediately evident is the unwavering support for our troops. The atmosphere here exudes a deep appreciation for the military, and it's heartening to see such a display of patriotism. Conclusion: The "Navy Seal Bar" is more than just a place to hang out; it's a glimpse into the soul of the community. If you're seeking an authentic local experience and a chance to connect with the spirit of support for our troops, this bar is a must-visit. It may not cater to tourists, but that's part of what makes it so special. Embrace the local vibes and take in the patriotic atmosphere—it's an experience worth having.

Burger was good, but come on with the pricing. Super slam burger was $16.00 and a side of fries was $7.00. $24.78 for a burger and fries. Fries were over cooked/terrible. If you're gonna charge $7.00 it should be an enormous quantity of perfect fries. I won't be eating here at these prices. Burger was good...not great. Danny's used to be the best in SD. Now they aren't even in the top 3 in Coronado.

We love local bars, and Danny’s was a refreshing change from the snootiness of the Coronado. Our bartender Rachel was friendly and helpful. The burgers and FRings were delish and we would happily return, if we didn’t live in Florida. Great spot for a great burger.

Good, not great. But sometimes in beach towns that's all you can ask for. We read reviews and this was within walking distance of our hotel so decided this would be our first stop in town (plus it wasn't far from the grocery store). We both ordered burgers - which were pretty good. We were there just before the traditional dinner hour and the only table (a few folks at the bar). The bartender was also our server. She wasn't super attentive, or friendly. I asked questions and because they were in 'yes' or 'no' form all I got was a head nod - which is fine, at least she had the answer to the questions. I did read some folks were complaining about the prices - we didn't think that they were unrealistic as compared to the location, so the prices didn't bother us. At all. Would I go again? Yes, likely especially if we stay at the same place. The location is good and in reading reviews it seems as though the food is reliable. thank you for...

The atmosphere is comfortable and somber at the same time. Seeing pictures of fallen military is thoughtful but not in a way that can bring down the mood. It's respect The bartender was very nice. We got burgers and "frings." I got the Yankin bakin (?) and it was delicious. Full of flavor, perfectly cooked bacon. My husband got the Brunch Burger, which looked good and he inhaled it. The frings (half French fries and half onion rings) were amazing. Neither were soggy or overcooked. The crunch of the last onion ring was as crisp as the crunch from the first. Anyone in the area needs to visit this place....
