I'm amazed that the driver stayed as long as he did. So we picked their special... also out. So we ended up overpaying for plain chocolate ice cream because we said, "Just pick whatever looks good. By the time we got it, the banana split was completely melted. You'd think that with the driver's patience that they could manage to at least keep it cold. But it wasn't even made as described. There was no hot fudge, which was amazing considering how melted it was. The fact that you could even order things they were out of is just stupid. But the only things they managed to actually have were only vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry ice cream?

Edit: Since I am unable to just respond since the input from the owner... Yes, the driver should have called me instead of using that unreliable messaging system. But you should have made sure that people can't order things you don't have. And no, the banana split was not made properly. It is advertised with hot fudge,...

—edit to reply to the response from marble slab— I worked in the food industry for 7 years and managed a couple locations in that time before becoming a stay at home mom. Being out of something simple like chocolate chips doesn’t really seem like an option to me. Something like this can be picked up at Walmart in bulk a couple miles away to make up for the supplier issues. And when it’s something that the supplier consistently seems to be out of, other permanent arrangements can be made to fix this problem. The “it’s out of my hand” response just seems lazy to me. Sweet cream is my favorite ice cream of all time. I come specifically for sweet cream with chocolate chips. They’re out of chocolate chips just about every other time we come here. You know when you’re craving something so specific and it’s just not there, especially being pregnant. Very disappointing. Plus it was $27 for 3 of us to get small ice creams so yeah we just can’t really come here...

One star is OVERLY GENEROUS for this place. The marble slab on alameda by heb is WAY BETTER!!! I only stop at this marble slab if I happen to go to chipotle. I won’t make this mistake anymore. Every stop has been terrible at this marble slab. I got overcharged for a quart of ice cream that was freezer burned terribly. (Should have been 8.99 and got charged $13?! It was plain/no mix ins so why was I charged this much??). But what really upset me was tonight. My fiancé and I stopped for some ice cream after eating at chipotle and he wanted to use his app reward. They were having trouble with their system (they entered his phone number a couple of times) and said he would have to pay full price. It doesn’t matter what issues you are having, you HAVE TO HONOR YOUR COUPONS/APP REWARDS!! The people were extremely rude so we left without the ice cream.
