O'Charley's Restaurant & Bar — Restaurant in Cuyahoga Falls

So I went to a O'Charley's restaurant in in Columbus for the first time and I absolutely loved it! I had the rib meal with a side of macaroni and cheese and the bacon mashed potatoes. I had 2 of the Margaritas that were 3.99. Everything was perfect. So I decided to take my mother, Sister, niece and son to akron location because it was closer to my home. As soon as we get there the lady asked if wanted a booth I told her it doesn't matter but mother is elderly and can't walk very far. I asked her where the restroom was and She began to lead us to other side of the restaurant so I asked if they had any tables near the restroom they told me no. I asked her again and explained to her, that my mother needs to use restroom and has a hard time walking very far could she give us a seat closer, she told me no and that side of the restaurant was full and she has to keep us so far apart which I understood. So we sat down where she asked us to sit. My sister took my mother to the restroom and when they returned they both told me that it was almost empty on that side!! Only a few tables were being used and there was more than enough room to keep everyone six feet apart. they had a whole wall of tables not being used at all on the other side of the restaurant which was almost empty except for a few tables. I tried to ignore that part but then when I ordered Margaritas for all of us, it tasted like staight juice! Tequila has a strong taste that cannot be mistaken, plus I was just at the Columbus location the day before and the drinks definitely tastes like a margarita. I told our waiter all of this and she informed me that they could add another shot of tequila wish they could charge me for I told her okay yes. When she brought the drinks you still couldn't taste any bit of tequila in them. Now I don't know about this place but any other place that gives you a single drink with two shots of tequila in it you should be able to taste it. And I definitely didn't need two shots at the Columbus location to taste the tequila in My Drink. When the food came out my ribs were cold the only thing that was warm was the mac and cheese and the potatoes slightly. Our ribs were tough and dry I couldn't even finish them. I paid for everyone except my sister and the bill came up to $100 and I left a tip. It's a shame for there to be so much difference in the food. I will never return to this location again. Really...

We came here for lunch after church. We were seated almost immediately, and our server had no other tables in his section. We were not given brunch menus and the young man serving us seemed confused and surprised when we asked for them.

My mom put in an order for the jack cheese wedges, and off he went. After he left, we overheard another server letting his table know about the $3.99 margaritas and half price appetizers, which our server failed to tell us about. When he came back to give us our drinks (one less water than we asked for) we asked about it and he explained that yes, most appetizers were half price. So we ordered a second appetizer - spinach and artichoke dip.

It took a long time for him to come back and when he did it was with our appetizers. We watched him serve another table that was seated after us several times between even glancing at our table.

We were a table of 4. I'll go through the food one by one. I ordered a Savanah Scramble. My toast was only toasted on one side but otherwise was okay. My boyfriend ordered ribs with mac and cheese and a baked potato. He says it was pretty good. My mom got her favorite, the pot pie. When the server asked if broccoli was okay, she said no and ordered a wedge salad instead. When her food came, the server was worried because they had forgotten her broccoli, and she had to remind him that she hadn't ordered it. Her pot pie was overdone and only okay. My father also ordered a wedge salad with his entree. Both seemed to enjoy their salads. He also ordered the cedar plank salmon which was overdone.

The service was lackluster at best. My mom ran out of water several times and had to ask more than once to get refills. We were not the only table to get poor service from this server. There was one table in particular that got VIP service. They were checked on about 5 or 6 times more than we were, and he seemed to actually listen when they expressed need, unlike his other tables including us who he barely asked "everything okay?" before walking away. One time there was another table that he asked that to and as the gentleman was starting to reply, he walked away.

Honestly, this location has really gone downhill in the last few months. It's been awhile since we had been here before today and now I remember why, and probably won't be back any time soon. The food is okay but doesn't really make up for the lack of...

Probably my second time here. Today is Sunday and my worst day or the server worst day. How can you start off being nasty to your customers because one said they wanted one with out ice . Boy did she get mad and I said just relax, he just wants water with out ice. She was mad at another member of our table when she ask her what she wanted and our person was a little confused with what she wanted , she was going to just leave our table and not get the the rest of our orders and I said we are ready to order. She mouthed us the whole time and as we received our food, even that was not done smoothly and she forgot to bring something that one of my friends wanted and she said oh I forgot and ran to get it . I had to ask for more coffee and again she snapped and said it will take 20min to brew and she did not get it until after I complained to manager which she said the party in the back is complaining about her also. Hmmm and the ppl at the next table were not happy with her as they had stated to me also. I was really mad when I sat on the end of the table to leave, she walked by and said cheep. I said really to myself and approached the manager who was already fussing at the waitress and I said I would like to see you again and I told her what the lady said and she said no I did not and I said well you need to watch what you are saying when you go by a customer who just complained about you. I said I was trying to help you calm down but you just got worse. I did not even like the food and I stated that to the manager as well. My fish was gross and the fries was over salty and the coleslaw was really like bland. Only thing was good was the bread....
