Went there for the first time on Sunday evening with my wife, first impressions mean a lot to me and I came away with a very “meh” impression based on my visit. Order steak and salmon combo and steak was over cooked, salmon forgotten and in a hurry to get it out to our table, it was undercooked and lacked any flavor. Mac n cheese side was bland but chicken tortilla soup tasted just right. Wife got the ribs and chicken tenders combo, she enjoyed her meal and the chips and salad were spot on for her.

Being a former server for five years in the restaurant industry, I look for certain things when dining out and that determines the tip (min should always be 15% IMO). What stood out to me was a delay in getting drink orders to the table, the forgotten order (that happens and I get it, no one likes that mistake; it’s embarrassing) no refills on drinks (should always look for that even in passing of your tables), and lack of cleaning tables from people who has left. I counted two tables within eye sight that had dirty plates and dishes on the table the entire duration of my visit. That’s a big fail on the restaurant in general, from manager to server for that table/section and even other servers. May not be your section but take ownership of the restaurant mentality and do something that should be done without being asked. Perhaps going around 7pm on a Sunday evening led to some of this but as I said, first impression means a lot to me. We had a coupon for a BOGO 50% entree that led to us trying this place. Another coupon wouldn’t bring us back here again, with so many other options to dine out in the area, this restaurant is a hard pass for me.
