You got your basic macronutrients here which is a plus and it’s totally inexpensive. We’ve eaten here plenty of times. *HOWEVER, during times of moderate to severe rainfall don’t eat here, unless: You’ve ordered online, or you have a raincoat and googles and don’t mind your car interior and yourself getting soaked along with perpetual rain droplets splashing you in the eyes and face while trying to place order.
*NOTICE •Salad and Go, doesn’t take orders at their drive-thru window and it has a canopy attached to it. Allegedly their drive-thru windows are reserved for payment and food pickup only, even if there’s moderate to hellacious rainfall occurring. *The canopy’s a projected structure designed to protect humans from rain, snow, and UV rays. “I guess Salad and Go customers doesn’t classify as being human.”
•There’s flooded streets around the store; including, upon entering and exiting the parking lot. Salad and Go tells me to order in the rain at their speaker post without a canopy attached to it and get soaked; something most modern fast food chains have, or I can order online with barely any cellphone reception due to bad weather conditions.
I ended up parking and walking up to the window on the other side of the store to place an order since two employees at the drive thru window told me to order online.
I easily took-on 15 times more rainfall while sitting at the speaker post trying to place an order, but drive thrus are suppose to be convenient... “Get a drive thru canopy or something guys or start taking orders at the window during such bad weather. Thats not a nice way to treat a...
Read moreJust wow! Seen this place around a few times while driving Uber. Today I dropped a passenger off who happened to work at this establishment. I generally love salads already, so I simply asked her did they have good options? She said absolutely, and that everything was good! Also that I should definitely come and check it out. I told her most definitely would…
Honestly I did not intend to go today, but I was curious enough to take a look at the drive thru menu, I did. Then I was instantly hooked… Great variety, vegetarian options also and the presentation was on point. It was the fact that every salad option could be made as a wrap for me. Which is Perfect for on the go eating, like I said I drive Uber and it’s great to have something healthy that can be quickly enjoyed and not need utensils…
I Loved the prices! Menu looked great and it was clear they were doing healthier eating better, and they were doing it right!
I had the bacon jalapeño ranch wrap! And the frozen strawberry lemonade! It was hella good!
About the “ONIONS” Ok look so I forgot to ask for no onions, I personally can’t stand raw onions!
But let me tell you the red onions we’re the best part…. They are picked and taste sweet and savory!
All that to say, I Can’t wait to come back and try more!!!
Thanks T for the recommendation and the awesome...
Read moreFriendly staff, quick service, and the salad was really big fort a little over $5. I went on their opening day around 530pm. I ordered online and picked it up, as I can never decide, so I wanted to get my order made beforehand. Got the chicken cobb salad with greek yogurt. The salad comes in a really cool large orange bowl with a lid- you add your dressing packet and shake it up to disperse it all evenly. I actually washed it out and will use these again. Good deal of food, plus there drinks are low (?) or no calorie that you can add sweetener to (they have stevia!) and they are all $1. I had a mango tea with mint and something else...really good with the stevia.
This one is easy to get to, great access from Ross Ave, plenty of parking if you want to eat it in your car, and the drive through is such a way that numerous cars can fit and nothing is blocked from the road.
Definitely a fan, as I am trying to eat healthier and their salads are big in size and low in cost. Highly recommend, as this is a venture you do not see often. Many places that do salads will charge upwards of $10, and that gets costly to do too often. This is a great concept that I...
