I'm still fuming as I write this review. I stopped by Sharetea around 7:50pm, the door was still open. I walked in and was not greeted by the anybody asked if they were still open ? Young lady said no they were closed ! It's not even 8pm yet! I understand that businesses have the right to close early, but it's unacceptable to advertise that you're open until 8pm and then kick customers away at the door.
No attempt was made to offer a solution or even a sympathetic ear. It felt like they were just trying to get rid of me as quickly as possible.
The customer service was absolutely atrocious. I've never had such a rude and unapologetic experience at a boba shop before. It's clear that they don't care about their customers or their reputation.
Needless to say, I will not be returning to Shareatea anytime soon. If you value good customer service and reasonable business practices, avoid this place .
I hope management takes this review seriously and takes steps to improve their service and communication with customers. Until then, I would caution others to be wary of this boba shop's advertised hours and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreTerrible experience!! unprofessional staff and awful service! I ordered a classic milk tea with lychee jelly and 50% sugar. The staff were constantly messing up orders, I saw at least two other people complaining while I waited. They didnāt give me a receipt or even an order number.
When I was told it would take 15 minutes, I sent my husband to pick it up. At that point, they claimed they couldnāt find my order and just handed us a random drink that tasted terrible.
When I asked for a refund (because I paid $8 for something I didnāt order), the staff refused, saying I āforgot my order numberā, which isnāt true, since they never gave me one in the first place. To make things worse, when I told them the drink tasted shitty and that management should be better, the south asian guy staff member (possibly the manager) actually said: āWeāre just two people working, and I know it tastes shitty.ā Why are you working then? If you can't manage the orders and can't even make a drink, what's the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreLet me start off on a positive note they do make good drinks. The young employees behind the counter said we needed masks on in order to be served. I told the employee that we did not have a mask they proceeded to tell me that I should go to another establishment to get a mask if I wanted to be served, now I wouldn't mind if they said they were out of masks that would be understandable. I'm not one to tell a business how to do business, but if you have rules in place at least have the amenities to support your request. An average of $5 to $6 a drink you would imagine they can afford to supply masks to their customers to fullfil business rules. FYI, in case you're wondering we are a vaccinated family which they did not...
