Read moreVisited this establishment yesterday having noticed it being quite busy for a while. I like the self order system, it’s easy albeit a bit aggressive (do you want to make your order 6 instead of 4? ‘No I don’t’). I noticed that once ordered it’s a bit of a mess as people stand in the way as opposed to moving over, some direction is needed as common sense doesn’t seem to be prevalent these days. The efficiency is lacking. Once ordered, there should be a smoother and simpler process to receive one’s purchase as opposed to waiting for as long as we did. The service. The young gentleman who was giving the boxes of cookies to customers must learn how to smile and be polite. I found his service appalling, and when he took his hat off to flick his floppy hair around, I watched in disbelief. Son, you work with food. No one wants a strand of your hair in the dough. The counter where customers wait and the cookie boxes are placed was filthy. I don’t care if it’s melted chocolate, it should be immaculate. A lady in front of me had a box as a gift placed on this messy counter. Kindly sort these issues out. Other than that, good. Cookies are advertised as 140cal each (approximately). They’re not, this is per quarter of a cookie. I found this misleading. It’s pricey but the quality is good. And this concludes my 3...
Read moreI love their cookies and get them almost every week! However the employees are really bizarre. I’ve had a couple of strange interactions but tonight was the weirdest. They had a sign on the door that said “Temporarily Closed”- I figured maybe they just needed some time to catch up on baking or something as they tend to “sell out” of certain flavors quickly. I left, did some shopping, and came back to find a line formed outside. The Open sign was still lit up, but the temp sign was still on the door. The employees completely ignored the line of customers and did not address anyone. A “Hey, sorry but we’re out of cookies for the night” or “Just give us a few more minutes to get everything in order” would have been nice. A few customers who had placed their orders online asked for a manager and were ignored. They kept trying to communicate with the employees and had to literally resort to putting their phone up to the glass, to which an employee came over and wrote something back on her phone and stuck her phone up to the glass instead of unlocking the door and communicating with the already- paid customers…totally freaking bizarre. A place is only as successful as their management so hopefully they make more intentional hires in the future because their cookies...
