Don Rico's Sports Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Daytona Beach

This was by far one of the most disrespected I have ever felt at a restaurant. We were seated in a section with one server, we understand how difficult it can be to be the only server, so we thanked our server Rachael and told her we are not in a rush. She seemed quite flustered with having 4 tables of people at one time. One of my friends asked her "when you get a moment, I have a question" as she was delivering our waters, she took a deep breath so large you would have thought she finished holding her breath for 5 minutes and snapped "you have to give me a second". Again, we understand how stressful it can be as all of us have been in the service industry at one point in time. We waited and then about 25 minutes later she came back to take our order, at this point she now has 3 tables as one group has left. I have severe food allergies, so I asked her what the chicken is marinated in, she snapped at me (extremely rudely) and said "i don't know- do you really want me to go ask the kitchen?" - I proceeded to order something else. She never came back to our table. We watched as each of the other tables became upset as well, one woman had an issue with her food and was unable to eat it, but no one checked on her so she didn't even know. When she finally got to tell someone, Rachael the server got upset the woman was not satisfied. Another table had an issue with their checks, we watched as Rachael proceeded to SCREAM at them about how they are wrong. Finally, when we got to our checks, they were also messed up and she huffed and puffed as if we kicked he puppy in the face. By the end of our 2.5 hour dining experience, we were the only table left and she continued acting as if it was a full house. Rachael absolutely ruined this experience for us, and many other tables surrounding us. I highly recommend going to a different restaurant if she is working. She absolutely ruined our experience. We actually took pictures of our receipts to ensure she would not try to charge something else after we left because I did...

This place is incredibly expensive, even for a hotel restaurant!!. We were there on a fairly busy night, so we sat at an open table, which the bartender said was a bar table. Had no idea this meant no waitress service. So you have to get up and go to the bartender anytime you want something. The bartender was very accommodating however. None of us really ordered what we wanted because the prices were so exorbitant. I got the barbecue wings which were very spicy, and it did not say they would be spicy on the menu. I wanted to exchange them for the garlic parmesan wings and they told me I would have to pay for the spicy wings I sent back! He said he'd have to send a manager to the table for us to discuss that. Which she did and they ended up not charging us but I thought that was ridiculous. Just be aware that the bathroom is about 1 to 2 city blocks away from the restaurant. This was difficult for me as I had a sprained ankle, so I had to be away from my party for about 15 or 20 minutes at a time just to use the restroom. The second set of wings were okay, but the french fries are not good there. How difficult is it to have decent french fries?! The drinks were expensive off the wall. I would never go to this...

this place is rude and ratchet. there was probably one other table in here at the same time as my table of 6. ordered a chicken sandwich with two things on the side. since literally no one was in the restaurant you would expect service and food to come out perfect…that was not the case in the slightest. waiter service was awful. someone who seemed to be the “manager” came over to ask how everything was. we told her our sandwich had everything on it when we asked for two things on the side. she snarkily asked if we had an allergy to which we let her know that no we did not have an allergy but we specifically asked for it without crema and cole slaw. she took it back and came back and said she made it “deconstructed” with a hint of sass basically telling us to do it ourselves since we had an issue. we also paid an extra $3 for the fry upgrade which was taken away with the first sandwich. fries were never brought back once the sandwich was fixed so we paid $3 extra for nothing. this restaurant was so bare they should be doing their absolute best to keep customers instead they were lazy and rude. also prices were way overpriced for mediocre food. would not recommend. i can see why the place...
