Kavasutra Kava Bar Denver — Restaurant in Denver

I've been a regular here a long time and honestly their kava makes everyone I know hungover which not all kava I've had does. But what really pissed me off and is total bs is they won't let you buy a gallon to drink at the bar. Other bars offer bottle service while this place insists on ripping people off. This is probably the last time I'll come down here cause that's wrong and I'll make sure to tell everyone I know who comes here as well. On top of all that the owner of this establishment is a manchild. His practices are highly unethical and clearly has no integrity and takes no pride in himself and in the business he runs. DO NOT COME TO THIS KAVA BAR! By doing so you enable this man and his unethical bigoted ways to continue. If I were him I'd be very ashamed of myself but that's only cause I have respect for myself, my customers, my community, etc. There are plenty of other awesome kava bars in the area. I highly recommend mad hatters kava bar much better atmosphere, drinks, pool tables, ping pong, and other...

I ordered a few drinks through Postmates tonight but my driver never arrived at Kavasutra. On the Postmates app, it showed that the driver was only about 2 blocks away but she never moved. After 45 minutes or so I called Kavasutra just to see if they knew anything and Courtney answered the phone. When I told her about the situation, she told me that she had put my drinks in the fridge so they would stay good and she offered to go look around outside just to make sure the driver wasn't lost. I'm not sure why the driver didn't move but it was clear she wasn't going to show. Courtney felt bad about it taking so long, despite the fact that it wasn't her fault, so she offered a drink on her. I really appreciated her being so helpful and kind! I've never been into kavasutra but she seems like a great kava tender.

The kava is very good here too. I drink a lot of kava and their stuff is very good. I especially like the Guru Punch in the Face and their Vanuatu...

It's atmosphere has definitely changed.... Used to go there all the time, less and less recently. There have been many rumors about some of the shady stuff Kavasutra has done or whatever... I'm not quite sure of much of that, but.... This place has become really cliquey... Which is fine, whatever. I just got told that I couldn't go back, but... There's been a pretty recent rash of people who've sworn to never go back. That's fine, I didn't want to believe that Kavasutra's was overpriced and, actually, a pretty fake 'establishment.' Yes, I got in a couple of those regular patrons faces... But only after they've they hassled me continuously. One of them kept on with trying to slander me on Facebook...Kavasutra's just got one too many haters now, some ridiculous patrons there play teenage...
