Cheeee HOOOOOOOO! What a FIND!!! Stumbled upon this place and considering we moved from Hawaii had LOW expectations after trying multiple “Hawaiian” food joints in Colorado, ALWAYS left disappointed. THIS PLACE IS LEGIT HAWAIIAN FOOD! Every thing we tried was BROKE DA MOUT ONO-LICIOUS!!! The poke was like braddah wen Pier 38 this morning and get em FRESH OFF THE WATER! I’m not even blowing smoke, this was THE FRESHEST TASTING FISH I’VE EVER HAD IN COLORADO!!! Every flavor of every dish was like being back in the aina!!! Louie the owner was the embodiment of ALOHA and felt like I was at his hale and treated like Ohana. His staff was amazing and service was maikaʻi loa!!! This is THE ONLY place I would EVER recommend in Colorado and I’ll be driving to Denver JUST for these grinds!!! Worth EVERY minute of the drive! If you wanna experience what it’s like to eat REAL Hawaiian food with the most important ingredient, ALOHA, THIS IS THE PLACE!!! Much mahalos for the INCREDIBLE food and true ALOHA Louie and staff! You made me feel like I was back in the aina for a brief moment and had me missing home!! Look forward to my next visit to the OHANA ISLAND KITCHEN!!🤙🙏🤙 Lopaka, Lynette...
Read moreThis place has been reviewed on several places as the best Hawaiian food in the Denver area. When you walk in, the place is cute and looks like a restaurant that would be in Oahu. Ive been to Hawaii several times, I seek out Hawaiian food restaurants everywhere I go and my best friend makes homemade Hawaiian food all the time so my gauge of taste/authenticity is validated. I ordered 2 spam musubis, the Kalua Plate, which was just rice and pork, and the Kalua Platter that had rice, pork, a kale salad, macaroni salad and some corn salsa thing. My total was $43, not including the tip! The pork was extremely dry and not seasoned enough. The macaroni salad was bland and didn’t have the crunchy textures a typical macaroni salad would. The rice had a yellow curry powder, furikake and LOTS of garlic on top. The sauce that they give you was a basic teriyaki sauce and I was only given one and had to ask for another. Don’t expect an authentic Hawaiian food experience because this is far from that. They did have a few poke bowl options that I would try IF I ever do go back but I...

Although the issue was a small action by one of their staff members, it affected me quite negatively, and it was reassuring to have my concerns addressed. The food has always been top-notch, and my feedback was solely about the service. I left our conversation feeling the utmost respect for this restaurant, and I look forward to being a customer for many years to come.
Ordered Uber Eats and asked for utensils very specifically as I was not near any. I was really excited as this was my first time trying the place. I spent a lot of money for the convenience of getting it delivered. Only to have it arrive with no utensils, and no...
