For nature lovers, this is a really special spot. From the sound of rushing water to intermittent cries from children laughing and playing near the river bank on one side—you’ll almost feel as though you’ve escaped the city. But that’s half of the enjoyment too—the fact that the city is still around you on every side. Old brick buildings squat beside tall stately structures covered in silver that almost seem to touch the sun in their reach. The walk itself down to the river is full of striking street art, architectural bridges, and more. It’s also kid friendly—for those mamas who need to get out of the house with their little ones on a summery day.
