I am astonished to see how many 5-star reviews this place has (I literally double checked I had the right location selected). I would’ve maybe chalked it up to it being an “off night,” but I don’t think it would be possible to be that bad as just a one-off. I honestly don’t even know where to begin, so I’ll just go sequentially:

Greeted by unfriendly hosts and told to sit in the already insanely crowded waiting area and wait to be called. There were at least 20 open tables throughout the restaurant, yet the waiting area was so full that even the waitstaff couldn’t walk through to get to tables. We had a reservation for 7pm. Got there at 6:55 and were finally seated around 7:15. Again, plenty of open tables all the meanwhile. Server was pretty quick to take our drink orders (a glass of rosé and a g&t), but we had to wait 25 minutes (not kidding) for the drinks to actually arrive at the table. Food was simply very bad. Ordered the crab and shrimp bruschetta as an appetizer—tasted like the crab came out of a can. Had the pipette pasta with sausage as my main—arrived at the table cold, gritty, and extremely oversauced. Noodles were so overcooked/had completely lost their structure to the point where it was literally impossible to pick up with a fork. They should call it a cold soup and give you a spoon. My friend ordered the burger and they may as well have just brought her a plate of frier oil instead. Never saw the server after he dropped the main courses off. At that point, it didn’t really even bother me because I wanted to get out of there as fast as I could. Luckily, there was a QR code at the table that you could use to pay… INSANE prices for BAD food.

I want to begin by saying we made a reservation for 8 on open table . The morning of reservation we realized we had 9 that 9th person being a 10 month old baby . We were told it’s possible we would be at 2 tables which made no sense . When we arrived whole party around 12:20 and were seated at 2 tables we noticed table open to hold us all we wanted to sit together since this was a birthday celebration. We were told we could not have that table . We spoke with the manager Derek and he said he would move us if a bigger table opened up meanwhile we watched a table our size sit empty until 2:20pm when we left. We received half our food at around 1:25 we sat without anything for almost 45 mins then our 2 nd table never received there main course until 2 pm 1st table already done I had to inquire where our food was . I ask Derek why he didn’t move us to the table he said he would if a reservation didn’t arrive . His words I’m too busy to see what table is open for you. I also said our food had still not arrived for one of our tables and if he would have just sat us together we would have all eaten together. I will say our server tried hard to help us but was obviously overwhelmed. In the end the food was not good and the experience for our daughters bday was so terrible. We will never return! Your manager Derek needs to work on his people skills there is no excuse for no follow through and arguing with a customer. He in the end discounted our bill but we honestly would have been happier to pay our full bill to be at one table together so we could enjoy our experience for the bday. We've been looking forward to trying THS. The food overall was impressive. Great salads, Shrimp taco's, and special baked pretzels. The pulpo was brought to the table not hot (barely warm). total rookie mistake: it clearly was sitting out in kitchen fully cooked too long before being brought to table. Server took it back to be reheated, after 5 minutes we asked for status rpt - he said they're preparing a new one. Huh?, why? We simply asked it be reheated - he said it was too late, so we waited, it took another 10 min. for it to come out - by that time our meal was finished. Pulpo comes out he said it was taken off the bill, which was clearly the correct thing to do at that point. It was cooked perfectly/tender: Very good but not exceptional- too much gooey sauce on the bottom.

The other issue was hit or miss service. We were seated and waited 6 min. to be greeted/get water....no greeting or water so we stopped a server walking by (not ours, although we still didn't know who was ours). he seemed confused, but said he’d bring water. Three minutes later, he showed back up with water. meanwhile, our server finally comes by and we realize he had walked by three or four times without greeting us or saying he’d be right back. And during meal he disappeared from dining room for long periods. Will go back again at least once since the food was good. But definitely need better trained staff and oversight.
