While I normally love this Starbucks and have never had a negative experience - a co-worker and I went in today and placed an order for five drinks. We were in on Friday, June 16th, 2017 at 10:15am. The cashiers were wonderful, the people working near the pastries were awesome, but it was not until we got to the end of the line, to pick up our dinks, there was a problem. I believe her name was Alex ā red hair I believe. (Please check the schedule to see who was running the drinks that day) she was working the hot drinks and made my black tea lemonade as well) she was extremely rude and when we asked for a drink carton she said, "Sure" but continued to make drinks. Proper customer service would tell you to say, "Sure, I'll grab that for you in just one second" or "sure thing, my co-worker will grab that for you." We proceeded to stand there while she shelled out five other drinks and we stood there waiting for our drink tray. Granted, it is Starbucks, we get that it is busy and I am a more than patient person, but it was all in her tone and attitude that made the visit less than satisfactory. She completely ignored us after our initial request. She stood there making drinks as though she didnāt just respond to us with āsureā - it was almost as though she was intentionally making us wait while she stood there sending out drinks. And if it was a case of, āI was busy,ā again, implement your customer service skills and say, āhey Iāll grab that for you in just a momentā and I would not be writing this negative review. Furthermore, please please please donāt work customer service if you donāt have the customer service needed to provide a good experience. After all, Starbucks prides themselves on the āexperienceā versus the coffee. Ā Ā Ā Read moreI can't explain it, but I'm pretty confident this is the best Starbucks in the area. The interior is designed perfectly with a modern aesthetic. I think it's slightly darker in there and then the rest of the Tivoli which makes it feel a lot more cozy. One of the main go-to places to give coffee on campus other than dabdoz on us and really it just depends on whether or not you're in the mood for something more gourmet or dessert like. I've consistently found that the customer service you get here is much better than any other Starbucks, likely due to it being made up of fellow students. This leads to it having a almost neighborly feel. I'd recommend this place to anyone who's chronically early to class, as it can be exceptionally packed in the mornings when classes start. The staff does work really hard here, is very courteous polite and fast though! They really keep the line moving and drinks out fast for how busy it is all the time! Know what you want ahead of time as they do get to you before you get to the register. The only reason I am not giving this 5 stars is they lack blonde roast for the scant few who actually drink just coffee or americanos so order a veranda coffee and hope they don't have to do a pour over.
