I really wanted to like East Pass Coffee Co. The aesthetic and photos online make it look like the perfect weekend coffee spot, but unfortunately, the food and drinks didn’t live up to the hype. Everything was just... mid.

I ordered the breakfast sandwich, which was nearly $12 on its own—and for that price, I expected something special. Instead, it was pretty basic, and the portion size underwhelming. It comes with tater tots as the default side, which felt off-brand for what appears to be a "healthier" breakfast place. Swapping them for fruit was an extra $1.00, which just added to the sense that you're overpaying for very average food.

I also got the Coco for Moca drink, which sounded promising but ended up tasting watered down and lacking any punch.

The final straw was the egg situation. I had ordered my sandwich with an over-easy egg, but it came out with the yolk already cracked and spilled all over the plate and under the sandwich. When I asked for it to be remade, the server was polite, but responded with, “Did you mean over medium?” No—I meant I didn’t want a mess on my plate and my sandwich falling apart. It wasn’t a huge issue, but the lack of attention to detail and execution added to the overall disappointment.

I usually don’t write reviews for places that are just "okay," but this felt like a letdown—especially after spending over $20 and walking away wishing I’d gone somewhere else. Here's hoping they dial in the quality to match the vibe.

I'm always on the hunt for a vibe-y spot with great food and coffee, and I'm happy that I found this gem on googlemaps! We stopped in for a late lunch and coffee, and thank goodness we did: everything was wonderful! As pictured, we ordered a breakfast bowl (eggs on the side), banana toast, the chicken sandwich and the berry toast. All of it was fresh and delicious! The berry toast with the burrata cheese was a new delight, as we'd never had that kind of cheese before! My daughter said the chicken salad was the best she'd ever had. I also ordered a salted honey latte, hot, with oatmilk, and it was yet another flavor I've not had before - it was delightful. My only tiny, picky complaint is that I love the option of having my coffee in an actual mug when I am dining in. Call me a coffee snob (which I admittedly am!), but it DOES taste different in a mug versus a paper cup. The atmosphere is bright and comfortable, and the space outside very inviting and big. I definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for good eats and...

Anyone looking for a great place to eat! You have to come to East Pass! Not only is the food delicious and well prepared, but the environment is always a vibe and great customer service which goes along way for me. Love the girls that make this place enjoyable by interact with their customers and they work as a team when it comes to a crowd of people…they always seem to amaze me every time i go. I’m never waiting longer than 10 mins and even that feels like 5 sometimes. This is my go to place. Especially in the morning! when it comes to what they are really known for(their coffee). I’m not a coffee person but since i started It’s grown on me lol. My favorite is still the Carmel Macchiato. And the Açaí Bowls are the best in town. 😁 Best place for a get together, family, a place to even come and get some work done on your computers. It’s the hottest spot I think for any social gathering. Take my word you won’t be...

The marriage of great coffee, great food, and charm is something that’s difficult to pull off well, but East Pass manages to do this flawlessly. Foremost, this is a coffee shop that serves food (and drink in the evening). With creative espresso creations and a dynamite cold brew, East Pass is a great, low key option for a morning or afternoon jolt on hot, warm, or cold days (I recommend the Spiced Honey Latte, hot or iced). But it’s really East Pass’s food that makes this place special. The breakfast burritos and breakfast bowls are out of this world neo-American comfort foods that exemplify savory. Both will perfectly satiate mid-morning cravings without overstuffing you; a much more difficult task in reality that East Pass pulls off. East Pass is a perfect example of the trendy American Brunch cafe done extremely well and they deserve all of your business.
