If you’re looking for some of the best street tacos in Destin, El Paisano is a must-visit. This food truck sits right next to Harbor Docks, a local favorite, making it the perfect stop for a quick bite with an authentic taste.

I decided to go all in and ordered three different tacos—fish, carnitas, and carne asada—along with rice and beans. While I could have taken advantage of the fish special, I opted for variety, and let me tell you, it was worth it!

The first thing you’ll notice is the size of these tacos—they’re huge! Each comes with double corn tortillas, packed to the brim with flavorful meat and topped with fresh cilantro and onions. The rice and beans were seasoned perfectly, adding the right balance to the meal. And don’t forget the green and red salsa they provide if you want to kick up the heat!

Stumbled across El Paisano while looking for some breakfast. Walked up and there was no wait, we ordered a couple of breakfast burritos took a little time to prepare as the food was made to order but it was definitely worth the wait… it was a good sized burrito almost hard to eat in one sitting and it came with a side of roasted breakfast potatoes that were cooked perfectly and seasoned just right. If you haven’t had it or are looking for a great made fresh breakfast I encourage you to try. We will put this on our list of must eats...

We have been here 10+ times and absolutely love it, the food is great and we can’t stop eating here. It is our favorite place in town. Definitely recommend. However, this last time my food tasted like soap or cleaner. Not a little bit, but like they drizzled dish soap in it or sprayed cleaner in it. I’m not sure how that happened.
