Side Hustle Lounge — Restaurant in Detroit

Two people on a first date looking for some fantastic Detroit pizza and a drink to help calm the nervous jitters. Mootz had a wait so they suggested we go to Side Hustle until they called us. As we were discussing what to order, Brandon the bartender asked if I like gin. He makes me an outstanding drink! Then does the same for my date but it’s another Brandon original that was amazing! After ordering the hot Italian pizza which might have been the best I’ve ever had, he makes us another round. Two completely different drinks yet just as amazing as the first. The food, drinks, atmosphere, energy, personality, and attention was 10/10!! Kennedi is so sweet. They make such a great team!

We intend on returning with our friends in the near future and will always remember our first date and first experience at Side...

Side Hustle is a special find while walking winning a blinding blizzard Brandon was so kind and welcoming me and so was Billie who slinked over from the other side. They serve the same items as they do in the restaurant without any of the sit-down-and-order-kind-of-fuss. The meatballs need to go into your mouth as they are well made and plentiful. This place gets 3 stars. Not because its a bad place atmosphere or drink wise or ever mixologist wise. Actually great for that. But when it came time to pay my credit card was voided 2X. Perplexing as it works fine. The PIN was correct. Eventually used another card. And used the original credit card at 2 other places after. No issues. Come to find I paid $157 for 4 drinks. They were $14 each. Stupid me for not checking the bill. ...
