While visiting Dillon for a week and being Mexican myself I had high hopes for this restaurant, but unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing. For starters, the food is overpriced—$6 per taco. For a sit-down restaurant, I would expect complimentary chips and salsa, but those were an additional charge.
The service was even more frustrating. Despite being the first guests to arrive, we waited 40 minutes for our food, which consisted of just two tacos each. Meanwhile, every other guest who arrived after us, including a group of kids who showed up 15 minutes later, was served first. The kitchen staff seemed to give clear preference to locals, which was very disheartening.
When I raised the issue with the owner, he admitted noticing the problem and said he would talk to the kitchen staff, but there was no apology or effort to make up for the bad service. I felt completely disregarded and offended by how we were treated.
By the time our food finally arrived, the restaurant had cleared out, and we were the last ones still waiting. Everyone else had finished and left long before us. This was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in a long time, and I can’t recommend this place to anyone looking for a...
Read moreI don't normally leave bad reviews, but I can't let this one slide. The ONLY reason it got 2 stars is because my wife said her marg was good.
Steak quesadilla: zero flavor, not much cheese. Steak was somewhat tender, but lacked flavor. Chips and Queso: chips weren't warm and didn't seem fresh at all. The queso was gritty and also lacked any flavor. Mexican beer.. $6 for a bottle of beer.. meh Tortilla soup: lacked flavor and the chips in the soup were soggy. $13.99 for soup? Wow Marg: only thing that won the 2 stars Chimichanga: My 11 year old ordered this and said the chicken was overcooked and very dry. The rice was white and didn't look like your traditional Mexican rice. Not on the receipt: $4 for a draft soda and $4 for a bottle of coke (forgot to order so had to go back).
$87 plus tax, tip, and a 3.5% credit card fee. $40 at taco bell would have resulted in more flavor. We threw about half of the food out. Prices like this should produce way...
Read moreI am writing to share a very concerning experience my coworkers and I had at Q-Bole on Friday, February 28th. We ate lunch at the Dillon location (265 Dillon Ridge Rd F, Dillon, CO 80435) around 1:00 PM, and shortly after, all four of us became extremely ill. We experienced severe stomach aches, vomiting, and 24-hour diarrhea.
While we understand that foodborne illnesses can happen, the severity and timing of our symptoms strongly suggest an issue with food safety or sanitation at this establishment. We are deeply disappointed and concerned for the health and safety of other customers.
We hope the management takes this seriously and conducts a thorough review of their food handling practices. Until then, we cannot recommend dining here and urge others to proceed with caution.
We would appreciate an acknowledgment of this issue and an update on any steps being taken...
