I solemnly submit this review from the comfort of my bathroom. From the moment I stepped foot into the dothan franchise of Moe’s, I knew things were awry. The hairs of my arms and legs rose with anticipation, but my heart sunk with the absence of a joyful “Welcome to Moe’s!” The two guys at the steam table were obviously bored with their work, as their faces lacked both smiles and pep. Now I have visited many Moe’s before. Opelika and Auburn have phenomenal Moe’s restaurants, but Dothan’s Moe’s is officially my least favorite of all dining establishments. I ordered “The Wrong Doug.” Let me tell you, it most certainly was the WRONGEST Doug I’ve ever had. I ordered steak for a change, since the chicken I sampled was the consistency of pork and tasted more like tofu. He pulled out a tortilla and placed the hard shell on top. Except this was not a 6” flat tortilla disk. No, it was merely a hard taco shell that he broke up into pieces with his hands and awkwardly placed into what looked more like a rhombus. My order was completed quickly, and I paid with a gift card (THANKFULLY). I become somewhat light-headed as I recall my first bite. Chewy. Tough. Fatty. It was like eating a mop-head with cheese and rice. Oh how rancid was my stack. I was only able to eat half of it. Before I dropped it on the table with a wrinkled lip. My last bite was regurgitated into one of my napkins. It was like sinking my teeth into a fresh hot dirty diaper, no lie. This incident occurred during the lunch hours of the second of January, 2018.
I write this review as a heed of caution. If you are considering eating at Moe’s, think of me as I regret my every last bite. Dothan’s Moe’s puts the name of the franchise to shame. Go to...

This was our second time coming here in a 3 month period because we are coming from Fort Rucker to hit up target and decoded to just grab a quick bite to eat. Note to self - stick to the enterprise moes. MUCH BETTER. From the dirty floors, dirty booths and tables to the old hard rice, getting your burrito and it’s literally cold inside and you just sat down to eat it, forgetting about my child’s quesadilla to the point that it was burnt and didn’t agree hat it needed to be replaced, to the broken sink machine being literally on its side and out of ice. From a bucket that’s so dirty when you lean in to grab the ice it smells and the employees don’t acknowledge your existence. Not to mention gossiping the entire time and making several customers wait to get their order finished or get rung up. When you ask them a questions it’s as if the WORLS is ending for them to do the job they applied for and got hired to do. Do yourself a favor and don’t work in customer/food service if you aren’t willing to interact with basic human instincts. After the second time of coming here my husband, myself and toddler all three were sick, puking and had upset stomachs and Moes is what we had for dinner the night before. If you like overpriced food that’s served cold and with a side of trash then come...
Read moreStopped by here after a chiropractic appointment next door. What a great find! Had never been to one before. Staff was really friendly and helpful. Similar to Chipotle but stopped up a notch. I tried the (3) tacos. They had a great selection of meat & toppings. All looked really fresh. I tried the white chicken, adobo chicken & pork. They were super yummy. Got it as a meal and it included Queso side and a large drink. Free chips with everything which is great!!! and your choice of salsas from their self serve salsa bar (the couple mild ones I tried were really good!). And I liked that you could pick your own and how much. Ran about $15 for it but guess that’s in line with about anything anymore. A little steep for a lunch which takes one star off the rating for me. A daily lunch special would be helpful. It was a lot to eat - next time might just get one or two tacos instead. Had leftover chips & salsa for sure. Would...
