I dont go to McDonalds often, maybe once or twice a year to get fries or a mcflurry. I went through the drive thru here and ordered just that.
The line of cars was backed up all the way out of McDonalds' property and onto Route 13. I arrived in the line for the drive thru just before the congestion. If I hadn't, I would've drove right on by and maybe try again next year! A lot of cars were beeping in the drive thru and on the highway because of the crowded road. There was a car trying to back out of a handicap parking spot, which is inconveniently placed, because if the drive thru is backed up like it was, they're blocked in.
My thoughts were that the whole set up going on there was a safety hazard and should be in violation of something. I was there on a Thursday evening... I'd hate to see if an emergency evacuation was needed during rush hour, beach traffic, race or Firefly weekend. Or how about the handicapped parking imprisonment!
But my annual visit did provide the "good fries"...you know, fresh, hot, and salt just right. Everyone hates the "$h!tty fries"...you know, the leftover, cold, mushy and stale...especially if you only go like...
Read moreHorrible service. Hey Felicia...if you were in the drive through at 1050am on Dec 1, 2022, your custom service needs work. Your tone is unfriendly and sarcastic. When called out on it, you got even more irrate. If you don't like your job, find a new one. Otherwise, do the right thing and be friendly and welcoming to customers from the get-go. You'll get better results. This is why Chick-fil-A continually gets business....never had an issue with customer service. McDonald's needs to take note. Train your staff better and hold them accountable when they don't measure up. Needless to say, I left without spending my money here. I don't think reviews of fast food establishments get much thought. People pretty much stop at whatever is close to get unhealthy, fast food when they're on the go. However, I hope your GM or RM sees this review and corrects the customer service here. It's really unacceptable....but is getting more and more acceptable the more crazy this world gets. Read moreFirst of all there was only three people in the line myself included. Went up to drive through and they messed my order up. I had a pretty simple order. All I asked for was a bacon egg and cheese biscuit, bacon egg and cheese McGriddle, and a steak and egg platter. They gave my order to someone else. Then they had me pull up to the third window to pick up my order. After 5 minutes they asked for a receipt to show proof of purchase. I waited another 10 minutes for my order. When they came back with the order it wasn't even what I asked for and on top of that they still didn't bring the bacon egg and cheese biscuit and McGriddle. I had to wait another five minutes for them to go back and get the sandwiches that I asked for three times before. The steak egg and cheese platter was pitiful and definitely not worth the money. I already try to stay away from McDonald's but this is confirmation and I definitely won't be back at this...
