Naomi Japanese Express — Restaurant in Dr. Phillips

Anyone who is leaving a bad review is looking for something to complain about, I mean that genuinely.

Where to begin - We were greeted by a lovely staff member upon walking in who assisted us with the tablet and ordering, explaining the menu items.

We ordered, the price was reasonable and sat. Our order was delivered promptly, edamame hot and sushi nice and cold.

Edamame flavour was fantastic! The SUSHI was the highlight! A California roll and two county rolls.. AMAZING!!! I have never used this word for anything but that was true Umami - Salty, savoury, sweet - Everything you could ask for. You could tell that the fish was fresh and real!

As we left, we spoke with the lovely woman who greeted us, finding out that it was the owner, Naomi! She was a very attentive and hospitable woman, making it feel like we were eating in her kitchen.

High emphasis on the ambiance as well. Music was calming and the place was very clean.

Had dinner here with friends for the first time. The staff were really nice and showed us how to use their self-serve kiosk. You can see what ingredients are used for each item when you select it on the kiosk.

We ordered Taro and Thai boba tea, which were freshing. For food, we ordered the Naomi house ramen without any add-ons and two Florida rolls.

The Naomi house ramen was pretty good, the broth was my favorite part. The ramen was filling since I also drank all of the broth. Wait until the broth cools down because it comes out really hot.

The Florida rolls were also delicious. Can't go wrong with a crab and shrimp...

Ramen. Honestly not good. My wife said the broth tasted like socks. The noodles were over cooked and the broth was bland. After reading the other reviews it looks like this place is know for its other dishes and not the ramen.

Teriyaki chicken. Absolutely delicious one if the best I have had. The fried rice was kind of dry

Spring rolls were done well

The popcorn chicken was good but kind of odd. It was sort of dusty idk.

I would get the other entrées, but I would not...
