Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers — Restaurant in Draper

This was only my 2nd time to Freddy's. The first time the food was mediocre so I hadn't been back in quite a while. My favorite Chinese food place was closed today when I went there and Freddy's is right in the same complex. I decided to give it another chance. What a terrible mistake.

I used the drive through. It took almost 30 minutes and there were 3 cars in front of me! Horrific service. When I asked what was going on the guy working the window told me that it was the "hive mind, everyone wanted Freddy's at the same time". I laughed at him. Such a stupid excuse. There were 3 cars in front of me and it took 30 minutes! That's 10 minutes per car! Hive mind? Be serious!!!

Then I got my food, drove home, and sat down to eat. I got the Patty Melt. I can forgive a lot fo things--especially the fact that the burger wasn't warm (I did have to drive home), But the fact that your menu says "Swiss Cheese" and that it came with American Cheese is simply NOT forgivable. You guys totally screwed up the order. I'm sure they were trying to get people through lines, but you don't change the cheese on someone--especially to American. It's not even real cheese. It's a "food product".

Sorry but I've had wonderful experiences at both In-n-out and Smash Burger this past week. They are both quick and very consistent. You get what you order. I'm not going to give...

I’ve been to Freddy’s a couple of times and it’s always been a pretty good experience. Tonight 12/02/18 @ 5:30 pm , my wife and I came through the drive through window and placed our order. We asked for extra fry sauce and when receiving our bag of food I asked, “Did you give us extra fry sauce?” The young lady who was preoccupied on her cell phone said, “ Oh, just a second, I almost forgot.” I should have then checked to make sure my entire 4 item order for 21.00 dollars was in the bag but I neglected to do so...... once I arrived home I was saddened to notice one of my 6.00 cheeseburgers was missing? Oh well, we all get preoccupied while putting selfies on Facebook & Instagram......... I call the number on the receipt 4 times and No Answer??? It’s not about the 6.00 dollars I gave to their charity as much as it is the principal. I considered driving 15 minutes back to the store in a snowstorm but decided I’d just rant on review site so that everyone else makes sure to CHECK YOUR SACK BEFORE LEAVING DRIVE THROUGH WINDOW! Don’t usually write negative reviews but happy customers unlike me, keep your business profitable. I love everything about this place. When you walk in you will get the sweet aroma of custard and high quality burgers. The place is old fashioned giving it the most amazing feeling. Every time i have walked in it has been very clean. The staff is very friendly and is always willing to help out when needed. My family and i have made it our weekly stopping place , where we can catch up and enjoy the food. In my eyes its not very pricey at all, its the same price as any other fast food restaurant. It does take a little while to prepare food, only because everything is made to order. Which of course is a bonus, knowing that my food is coming from high quality. If you haven't tried the fry sauce, you are missing out!

I will note that on the drive thru, it is very slow. Its only that way because of the first come first served basis. They go in order of place. Lets say you order your food in the drive thru, meanwhile someone just ordered food in the building. The ones in the building would go first. That is the only down side to the drive thru, you must talk fast and be quick with your order. This will speed up your wait time.
