Caribou Coffee — Restaurant in Duluth

I have been going to this caribou for about seven or eight months now. I am there 2-3 nights a week at a minimum. Love the service, love the coffee, love the location, and I LOVE the loft upstairs for studying. As an online student in an out-of-town school, it's hard to find a place with refreshments and friendly atmosphere. I was extremely disappointed when they recently started closing the loft at 7pm. The staff told me there were spots available downstairs, and when I went down, I was disappointed to find no open seats, and had to pack my books and computer up on the garbage container. I'm not sure if I will continue to go there to study. If the store doesn't close until 10pm, why close the loft--a perfect place to...

Ok, we get it. Staffing issues happen. But when you arrive at 6:08 am because you couldn’t sleep well last night in the hotel and you saw the night before that the coffee place opens at 6 am, but when you arrive and a new sign says that due to staffing issues Caribou will not open until 6:30, the disappointment is major.

But then you look through the window and see an employee sitting at a table, doing nothing except drinking a cup of coffee? Then you feel a bit enraged!

Next time that happens, please tell the staff waiting to open to GO DRINK THEIR COFFEE IN THE BACK LIKE A DECENT HUMAN BEING!!! Do not leisurely sip your coffee in the front window while the line of desperate caffeine seekers...

(BIG THANKS to the store for responding back to sooo many other comments but not the one that actually can be a danger to some and now im holding the store accountable as well and am changing what i said) so my issue is a particular girl with a tan car who is speeding through the parking lot to get to work. She came up so fast to me (while I have the right away), didnt seem like she wanted to stop even tho I kept walking, and then proceeds to slow down after just to give me attitude like I'm the one in the wrong. Then when I address her in the store she puts on a fake act of being all of the sudden sorry. Yeah not the type of behavior that I think is appropriate...
